The Stench Of Fear

This cracks my ass up, what a bunch of ass covering weinies.

CNN pulls plug on Hillary Clinton documentary after director backs out

CNN Films has canceled plans to produce a documentary about former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, putting an end to a project that had sparked considerable political controversy.

In a lengthy piece published on the Huffington Post Web site Monday morning, Charles Ferguson, who was slated to direct the project, explained that he felt compelled to shelve it over opposition to the idea from both Clinton allies and opponents, which triggered a widespread lack of cooperation among potential interviewees.

"When I approached people for interviews, I discovered that nobody, and I mean nobody, was interested in helping me make this film," writes Ferguson. "Not Democrats, not Republicans — and certainly nobody who works with the Clintons, wants access to the Clintons, or dreams of a position in a Hillary Clinton administration."

Too many skeletons in all those closets.

I'm sure there are several hundred politicians of a certain stripe who would shit their britches if Hillary ever made it back into the Oval Office.

Can you say Whitewater?

Not to mention some chick named Monica who certainly caused no end of heartburn, what with all that impeachment business and the millions of resulting embarrassing jokes.

It doesn't surprise me one bit that no one would even consider putting their names on a list of contributors for that documentary.

I'm sure Hillary is familiar with the old cut and paste feature on a computer.

That would make it easy to come up with a political hit list.

Barney Fife Has A Reality Show?

This is just too much.

It remains to be seen just what will result from this rampant illegality but hopefully it will involve large amounts of money and the slamming of many steel barred doors.

HOUSTON (CN) - Texas lawmen broke into a woman's house without a warrant to arrest her on bogus marijuana charges, and filmed it for a constable's YouTube reality show, the 61-year-old woman claims in court.
Perla Carr sued Montgomery County, Texas, its District Attorney Brett Ligon, its Precinct 4 Constable Kenneth "Rowdy" Hayden, Precinct 4 Chief Barry Welch and three other deputy constables, in Federal Court.
Carr claims that "loud noises of someone breaking into her home" woke her up at around 10:15 p.m. on Sept. 22, 2011.

"After searching Perla's residence and finding alleged marijuana plants deputy Eric McHugh under the direction and knowledge of at least Constable Hayden, Chief Welch and Supervisor Berglund wrote up a materially false and misleading affidavit to support a search warrant."
The affidavit falsely stated the constables saw marijuana through the window the home and smelled before breaking in, and left out that they had searched the residence without a warrant, Carr says.
The phony affidavit worked, Carr says, as a judge signed a search warrant that arrived two hours after the break-in.

"Sometime after Perla's case was dismissed in her favor, Perla discovered a video on YouTube of the defendants breaking into her home with a crowbar through the front door. ... The video was for a reality television show called 'Texas Takedown' and is currently available to view on the Internet," the complaint states. "All defendants were aware of the filming of the incident involving Perla and 'Texas Takedown.'
"Also, the recently discovered video shows Constable Hayden talking on the phone to DA Ligon prior to the crowbar break-in, who advises Constable Hayden to 'force entry.'"

What is it they say about taking the law into your own hands?

These assclowns, from Barney and the DA clear to the judge that signed off on this cavalcade of felonies need to be locked up and sued into oblivion.

H/T FARK for the link.

More Political Brinksmanship

I am pretty much sick and tired of the fucking games these assholes seem to insist on playing these days. Buncha damn Drama Queens, they are as bad as a cheezy fucking Soap Opera,.
Come midnight tomorrow, we may or may not have a functional government.
I should rephrase that I think.

That bunch are the poster children for dysfunctional morons.

What may actually happen is that the government will run out of money.

Oops, I did it again.
We have been broke for years.

What they are dicking around with is a six week extension to fund the government to keep it from shutting down and throwing hundreds of thousands of government employees out of work.

If you have somehow managed to miraculously miss hearing about this, you are to be commended and envied.

All ya gotta do is Google "Government Shutdown" and there will be scads of articles with finger pointing galore.

I ain't linking to a single one either.

Fuck those clowns.

Someone let me know when they decide to get serious about the problems facing this country.

I will have my thermal underwear on and be waiting for a ride to Hell when that happens.

Some Twatwaffle Argues That Neville Chamberlain Was Right To Appease Germany

This is the kind of horseshit that needs to be watched for and called out.
Selective history revision that is meant to sway perception and published in a major news delivery apparatus as an opinion piece.

Just mention the name Neville Chamberlain and what is the very first thing that comes to mind?

It is automatic.

Here we have some pussy motherfucker trying to make the argument that Chamberlain's decision to give up Czechoslovakia to Hitler as a means to buy time to prepare for war was "what we would want any responsible leader to do".

Neville Chamberlain Was Right

The maligned British prime minister did what we would want any responsible leader to do.

My first question to this quisling cocksucker is "who is we"?

Chamberlains decision gave Hitler free reign to fully implement his plans to exterminate the Jewish population in Europe.

Somehow this "Nick Baumann" conveniently avoids getting anywhere near that small point.

Fuck you Nick.

Can You Say Double Entendre?

You can read more than one meaning into this slogan.

Shamelessly stolen from Theo Spark.

That is one busy place.

Lot's of headlines and plenty of fine examples of the fairer sex too.

No Rest For The Wicked

Even on my day off I am busier than a one legged man in an ass kicking contest.

My Dad is back in intensive care again, his 76th birthday is tomorrow, my Mom has some kind of wicked cold or flu and with her already being worried sick about my Dad, she is pretty much a basket case. To top that whole situation off, my niece, her husband and a one week old baby are living there with them.

I went to see my Pops and then went to see my 99 year old Granny in the nursing home.
The last four times I have been to see her she was out like a drunken sailor on a Saturday night, there was no waking her and she doesn't know who ya are anymore anyway. She was actually awake today and we had a nice visit, for what it's worth.

At least she knew someone was there to see her..

I called my youngest daughter because I hadn't heard whether or not her fucking car passed emissions after I spent $250 on oxygen sensors, fuck no.
The day after she left here the fucking check engine light came back on.
So, I told her to come back over so I can see why that is on again.

If it's the oxygen sensor codes again then it is either the computer seeing something I don't or the wiring is fucked up.

Either way that means a trip to the fucking Dealership.
My ass is bleeding just contemplating that possibility.

I got the screening over the holes in the house foundation covered up again after the cats decided they wanted a daylight basement option. That involved drilling holes in the concrete.

My back is killing me from that and I had the boy and his cousin help me build a set of shelves, more of a small cabinet yesterday for the garage.

I know I am forgetting something but it is all starting to blur together at this point.
Oh, yeah, the weather.
It is raining sideways and the wind is absolutely fucking howling outside.

I got behind a semi getting on the bridge headed to Oregon and that sumbitch was all over the road.

It didn't take long for the wind to start pushing me around too so instead of being the first one at the site of a tip over I went ahead and went around that guy.

Someone at the store said we were supposed to get about ten inches of rain around here in the next few days.
While not unheard of around here, I have seen it dump a solid half inch of rain in less than a half hour, I will believe it when I see it.

So if it gets a bit quiet around here it probably just means that I have finally fallen over dead exhausted.

Y'all have a nice day and thanks fer stopping by.

Christmas Is Coming

I know, I know, please don't hurt me!

I just wanted to give you an idea for a little stocking stuffer for your shooting enthusiast.

I do believe I am going to get some of these just for fun.

This is amazing. How in the world do you make a camera that can expose a million frames in one second?!

It's fucking mind boggling to ponder.

Pretty damn cool results though, see for yourself.

No Wonder I'm So Burnt Out

As of last Sunday I had put in over 230 hours at work in 4 weeks. 110 hours this pay period and a little over 120 last pay period.

A month of normal 40 hours a week is 160.
That means I put in 70 fucking hours of overtime.

Of course good ol' Uncle Sam loves my ass right now.

I have about two weeks of time off I need to burn before the end of the year and I am going to do just that here real soon.

I see either a week off straight or a whole bunch of four day weekends in my future.

The fucking bastards even woke me up calling me on the phone at nine thirty this morning when I didn't get to bed until four A.M. .

Trust me when I say that some dickhead got an earful before I hung up.

I'm taking tomorrow and Saturday off for starters.

Now I am going to relax and catch up on my browsing.

I'm so fucking tired I can't even do basic addition tonight.

I posted fucked up numbers originally and it took a good five minutes of staring at them to see where I messed up.

Angel, Irish And Wirecutter At The Beach, The Early Years

Shameless little tart, ain't she?

Another Story You Will Never See On An American News Station

They are too busy reporting the weather and fluff stories

Hero with a Handgun Saved 100 People from Islamists in Mall Attack

An Ex-Royal Marine with a handgun saved 100 people as Islamists attacked the Kenyan Westgate Mall. According to the Daily Mail, the former Marine was having coffee with friends in Westgate Mall when the attack began. Armed only with his handgun, he immediately began gathering people and getting them out of the building.

One of his friends said, "He went back inside twelve times and saved 100 people. Imagine going back in when you knew what was going on inside."

The hero with a handgun is a former Royal Marine who now lives in Kenya, but he cannot be identified for security reasons.

Suffice it to say, "British military regularly [trains] and [operates] out of Kenya, and have been involved in tracking UK citizen involved with hardline Islamists in Somalia and Yemen."

That is just incredible.

It's a crying shame not one news station manager in this entire country has enough balls to headline this story.

Fucking weasels.

I'mTired And Pissed Off

This seven day a week bullshit is getting old.
On top of that I spent ten and a half hours inside a confined space on my fucking knees last night with a restraint harness on stringing a whole shit ton of wires and my left foot is still numb on top.

I'm fucking beat.

Hopefully I will have next Saturday off.

If nothing else I still have 3 floating holidays to burn and if worst comes to worst I'll use one of those.

As for the pissed off part.

As I was sitting here trying to wake up, all groggy as fuck, my wife tells me that the boy is having anger issues and that they got into it last night, again.

He is fifteen and I remember those days.

I took off from home at that age and never went back myself.

They got into it about grades and of course being a growing male of that age, he is mouthy as all get out to her. The little fucker is smart enough to know better when I am around because I'll get his ass.
She escalated it and slugged him on the arm so he went ballistic and punched the window over the sink that hangs out, kinda like a mini green house. I forget what they call those things.
Anyways, he busted the inner window and of course, cut the shit out of his hand.

I just got off the phone to the glass place and they will be out tomorrow, to the tune of about $250.

You can rest assured that the lad and I are going to have a short conversation.

A very short, one sided conversation.

If he pulls his lippy fucking shit on me I might end up calling a drywall guy too.

They say there is no rest for the wicked and I certainly have earned my share but I am starting to wonder if I wasn't Genghis Kahn in a previous life.

It Was A Matter Of Time

Somebody needs a good slap upside the head for a little over reacting here.

Suspended Student May Be Expelled for Rest of the Year for Playing With Toy Gun…in His Own Yard

A suspended seventh-grade student in Virginia Beach, Va., could be expelled for the rest of the school year for shooting an airsoft gun with a friend in his yard as they waited for the bus to come.

Khalid Caraballo, 12, and his friend, Aidan, were suspended for “possession, handling and use of a firearm” because they “shot two other friends who were with them while playing” with the airsoft guns, WAVY-TV reported.

Caraballo answered “no, sir,” when asked if he took the toy gun to the bus stop or to school.

“We were in our yard. This had nothing to do with school,” the student said.

Caraballo’s mother, Angel, said being punished for “possession, handling and use of a firearm” was “pretty harsh” for a toy that she bought for $25.

Tim Clark, Aidan’s father, told the news station that the school neglected to use common sense in the incident that occurred off school property.

This zero tolerance bullshit don't fly when the activity has absolutely nothing to do with school assholes.

You overzealous motherfuckers have stepped way beyond your boundaries this time.

$3 gas?

Gasoline prices drop closer to $3 and could keep falling

Remember $3 gas? Well the price is headed down and might get back to that level again after more than three years.

The average price for a gallon of gasoline in the United States fell 6.4 cents in the last two weeks, as crude oil declined and refiners passed on the difference to motorists.

Some industry experts believe the price could keep falling, even below $3 per gallon for the first time in three years.

According to the latest Lundberg survey, the average price was about 31 cents lower than a year ago, based on the Sept. 20 survey of some 2,500 retail stations in the 48 contiguous states.

Trilby Lundberg, survey editor, said the rise came alongside a decline in the price of crude oil. Crude has fallen as Libya has produced more and there have been signs of diplomatic progress regarding Syria and Iran.

"California did buck the trend because of some recent hiccups in the California refining capacity affecting the West," Lundberg said. "Prices rose at the pump about 16 cents in California, but the spike has already died as those glitches have already been resolved."

Charleston, South Carolina, had the cheapest gasoline in the survey at $3.14 per gallon, while drivers in San Francisco, paid the most at $4.01 per gallon.

I paid $3.74 for gas just yesterday here in the Vancouver WA area.
Here on the Left Coast we get butt jammed for gas all the time.

Even though there are several refineries around here.

Somehow they either manage do be down for maintenance or burn the fuck down every damn year.

Did you know that even with record profits for the petroleum industry, we are talking BILLIONS of dollars every three months, that there has not been a new refinery built in this country since the 1970's?

That was forty years ago.

So yeah, I'll believe three dollar a gallon gas if and when I ever see it again.

I'm All Set

Just wanted to let you know - today I received my 2013 Social Security Stimulus Package. It contained two tomato seeds, cornbread mix, two discount coupons to KFC, an 'Obama Hope & Change' bumper sticker, a prayer rug, a machine to blow smoke up my ass and a 'Blame it on Bush' poster for the front yard. The directions were in Spanish.

Yours should arrive soon.

Pretty easy on the eyes too.Mercy!

The Power Outage

We had a power outage yesterday and my internet, PC,
TV and games console shut down immediately.

It was raining so I couldn’t golf.

I couldn't see in the dark so I couldn't mess around in the garage either.

I had to talk to my wife for a few hours.

She seems like a nice person.

For SixBears And Sea See, Stay The Fuck Away From Phuket!

Damn,a fucking guy can't even build a fucking boat, on his own fucking property, in some fucking place called Phuket.
The jokes just write themselves.

Phuket Immigration cracks down on yachting, marine industry

PHUKET: Phuket Immigration chief Sunchai Chokkajaykij today confirmed that his office has launched a crackdown on foreigners working illegally in Phuket’s yachting and marine industry.

The news follows the arrests of a German man and a Swiss man who were caught building their own boats on their own properties in Chalong late yesterday afternoon.

“We have been targeting foreigners working illegally for some time, and right now we are focusing on the yachting and marine industry,” Col Sunchai said.

“I cannot reveal where we will raid next, as we don’t want to give any warning to those who are breaking the law,” he added.

However, Col Sunchai gave a general warning to all foreigners involved in any form of marine transport: “We will check everywhere there are boats – the ports, the piers – everywhere,” he said.

One of the illegal boats pictured above.

I have no idea why it is against the law in Thailand for foreigners to build a boat on their own property but SixBears and Sea See have both built boats at home and I thought they might find some irony in this.

It's Caturday

I think this fucking cat has some identity issues.

Tunisian girls 'head to Syria to offer themselves to Islamic fighters as part of sexual jihad'

Reports spread on internet calling for girls to offer themselves to fighters
Tunisian media said 13 girls traveled to rebel-held Northern Syria

At least 13 Tunisian girls reportedly traveled to rebel-held Northern Syria to offer themselves as sex workers to opposition fighters.

The report comes as concerns in Tunisia grow about religious orders or 'fatwas' that have circulated the internet calling on women to perform jihad through sex.

Last week, a Tunisian minister of religious affairs appealed to girls not to be influenced by Islamic preachers outside of Tunisia who, it has been reported, made a number of 'sexual fatwas'.

Here is an example of the sensuous delights they can look forward to in a rare exotic setting otherwise known as a bathtub to the rest of us.

I'd rather fight.

Nice But I Don' Wanna Visit

I deleted the last post. After sleeping on it I figure it probably wasn't such a good idea to leave that up.

A little venting is all. Yeah, that's the ticket, venting, yeah.

Nothing to see there anyway.

I know that nothing ever truly disappears forever on the internet but making someone search is preferable to leaving it in plain sight.

So Where's The Outrage?

For years and years there has been a low grade howling that occasionally peaks at an ear shattering crescendo over gun control. It's like clockwork.

There is a new study that just came out that shows medical malpractice deaths dwarf gun deaths, automobile deaths and accidental deaths, combined.

This new study shows that the problem is so rampant that they estimate it to be the third leading cause of death in America trailing only heart disease and all cancers combined.

In 2010, the Office of Inspector General for Health and Human Services said that bad hospital care contributed to the deaths of 180,000 patients in Medicare alone in a given year.

Now comes a study in the current issue of the Journal of Patient Safety that says the numbers may be much higher — between 210,000 and 440,000 patients each year who go to the hospital for care suffer some type of preventable harm that contributes to their death, the study says.

That would make medical errors the third-leading cause of death in America, behind heart disease, which is the first, and cancer, which is second.

What kind of outrage do we hear about this?

It seems medical malpractice isn't so messy and visually in your face.

It's nice and tidy.

My father almost kicked the bucket recently because a new doctor he was seeing prescribed him a new heart medication that built up in his body and started poisoning him.

He was in the hospital for two weeks and had multiple "heart episodes" which is hospital speak for heart attack.
The medicine burned his lungs chemically. This was misdiagnosed as pneumonia at one point and he kept taking the medicine until it finally put him in the hospital.
His regular doctor finally figured out what the problem was but not before it damn near killed him.

This is just one example of the now estimated Half A Million People A Year that die because of medical malpractice yet you do not see angry mothers on the television demanding action, do you?

This country has it's priorities fucked up and it is the media and special interests who are fanning the hysteria.

I expect we will see more about this issue in the near future though.

Above And Beyond Technical Help

I swear,I have never seen someone able to help a complete stranger with an electrical/cable problem by using not one, but two Blogs!

I was pitching yet another fit about my internet connection again the other day and got a few comments but one of the commenter's went way the hell above and beyond to help me try to figure out what the hell is wrong, over the internet!

Where real life professional cable technicians have tried repeatedly and failed, SteveieRayV from Your Crazy Uncle Bubba fame may have just pulled off a win that can't be believed.

He is an ex cable tv tech and obviously knows that of which he speaks.

He was nice enough to offer me some tips and things to look for in the comments but when it came down to something I wasn't able to visualize, he went the extra mile and took pictures of what he was talking about from his own house and then put them in a special post on his Blog , just for me......

I really don't know what to say except Thank You from the bottom of my heart.

That has to be one of the top ten nicest damn things I have ever seen for someone to do for a person they don't even know.

I will be out there tomorrow replacing that mess,it certainly has to be a big part of the problem, and when I am done I am going to send StevieRayV an Email letting him know how it turned out.

I think I can honestly say I owe him a jug just for what he has done already.

You sir, are The Man.

Debunking The Media Lie That No Mass Shooting Was Ever Stopped By An Armed Citizen

I have been seeing this bald faced lie repeatedly the last couple of days and it needs to be rebutted, hard.

The cocksuckers in the media are hammering the anti gun agenda and they are using blatant lies coupled with subtly biased graphics and commentary.

The following is a list of NINE TEN potential mass shootings that were stopped cold by either armed private citizens or law enforcement officers.

Pass this around and shove the nearest gun grabbers face in it.

1. The Pearl High School shooting.

2. The Parker Middle School dance shooting.

3. The Appalachian School of Law shooting.

4. The New Life Church shooting.

5. The Trolley Square shooting.

6. The Golden Market shooting.

7. The New York Mills AT&T store shooting.

8. The Clackamas Town Center shooting.

9. The San Antonio Theater shooting.

My thanks to Robert The Biker in the comments for reminding me of the Fort Hood Shooting that was stopped by a lady MP.

10. The Fort Hood Shooting.

That's an even ten.

H/T to FARK for the link to BUZZFEED.

I'm Glad To See You Too!

There Is a Club And You Ain't In It

Ever hear of something called "Diplomatic Immunity'?

It's real.

Here is a quirky example of something similar right here in Washington State,

It's the law: Washington state lawmakers don't get speeding tickets

Washington state legislators headed to work can't get speeding tickets -- or so says the Washington State Patrol and at least one local police department.

A spokesman for WSP says Washington lawmakers are constitutionally protected from receiving noncriminal traffic tickets during a legislative session, as well as 15 days before. A spokeswoman says The Tacoma Police Department abides by a similar policy.

State Patrol spokesman Bob Calkins says the privilege not only applies to moving violations near the state Capitol in Olympia, but potentially anywhere in the state.

The logic? Detaining lawmakers on the road -- even for the time it takes to issue them a speeding ticket -- may delay them from getting to the Capitol to vote.

Theoretically one of these weasel fuckers could be all the way across the state and get pulled over and all they have to do is lie through their teeth and say they are trying to get to the Capitol to vote. Washington isn't a little state either.

Shit, in some parts of this state I wouldn't bet the cops wouldn't give them an escort to the county line.

I'm sure this is some throwback law from when the state wasn't that old but works for a nice get out of trouble free card for the worthless bastards.

My Fucking Internet Connection Was Out, Again.

This has been an ongoing problem ever since I moved into this fucking place.
I, or rather, my wife, had the repair guys out here two or three times and they couldn't find anything wrong.
The sonofabitch goes on the blink and stays out until it damn well feels like coming back on.

I finally got pissed off last year and called the motherfuckers and reamed some ass.
I told them to send somebody out here that knew what the fuck they were doing because there IS a problem and I want to know what the fuck it is.
I'm tired of playing nice with you assholes and getting shined on.

You send somebody out here while I am here so I can talk to the guy and you can quit blowing smoke up my wifes ass.

So, bigger than shit a van shows up and this young guy gets out while I am here before I gotta go to work.

He starts in where the cable comes to the house.

I'm thinking you should start at the fucking pole and work your way in but whatever.

So he is taking connections apart and I am fucking around in the garage because that's where all that shit is.

He gets up on a ladder and takes a connection apart and looks at it. Nothing wrong there.

He goes to put the fucker back together and gets shocked,....

Houston, we have a problem.

TV cable is not supposed to have 110 volts running through it obviously.

So he starts tracing the cable with a hand held gizmo that detects electricity by the electric field around the wire.

After a bit he calls the guy they should have sent out in the first place, the old guy who has seen it all.

He shows and up and they put their heads together for a minute and then the real diagnosis starts.

They followed the cable through every room in this house, front to back.

Somewhere, inside the motherfucking walls, it is either rubbing up against a live wire, or what my personal thoughts are, some dickhead ran a screw or a nail into the wall that went through the 110 line into the cable and shorted them together.

Short of yanking every cable out of the wall there is zero chance of ever finding where it is so here I sit.

This is a rental house and neither I nor the owner wants to go through all that..

If it was my house it would already have been done.

I'd have yanked every inch of that shit out until I found it and been done with the irritating fucking thing.

So my lack of posting is not just me being a lazy fuck, this time......

The Naval Yard Shooting

It always boggles my mind.
I can't for the life of me understand why some people who get pissed off decide they need to go kill a whole bunch of other people they have never met before.

Let me say this to any other potential assholes with thoughts of mass murder on their minds.

Use one fucking bullet on yourself first and save the rest of us a bunch of grief if you are that unhappy.

Seriously, just kill yourself now. Theirs is a cowardly way without honor. Eat a bullet or jump off a building. Someone will be there shortly to clean up your mess and then the rest of us will go about our business.

Shooter Identified as Aaron Alexis in Washington Navy Yard, Naval Sea Systems Command Headquarters shooting: 12 dead, 1 shooter dead

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- D.C. police say 12 people have died after a shooting at Washington Navy Yard on Monday morning. Police say one shooter is believed to be dead and they are now only looking for one other potential suspect.

The USA Today is reporting that law enforcement officials told them Aaron Alexis, of Fort Worth, Texas, was the shooter who was killed in the shooting on Monday morning.

At around 2:45 p.m., DC Police Tweeted that one of the possible other suspects was found, questioned and then cleared of any wrongdoing.

The white male last seen around 8:35 a.m., wearing a tan military uniform with short sleeves and beret hat has been cleared.

Police are still looking for the black male approximately 40 to 50 years old, possibly wearing a military style uniform. He is approximately 5'10" and 170 pounds with "graying sideburns," say police. Police say they did not have reason to believe they are military officials.

Police do not have a motive for the shooting.

Among the people shot are a D.C. police officer, Navy Yard base officer and civilians. They were shot inside the Naval Sea Systems Command Headquarters building (Bldg. 197) at 8:20 a.m.

Clank Clank Clank........

FAIRBANKS, Alaska — A Fairbanks man punched a grizzly after the bear entered the camping tent he and his girlfriend were sleeping in at Sourdough Creek Campground.

The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports ( that Jason Lauesen and Liz Pawelko were awakened about 6 a.m. on Labor Day by shaking and the entrance of a bear head, or maybe a paw, into Lauesen's side of their tent.

At the time, Lauesen didn't have his glasses on, and doesn't know what part of the bear he made contact with. But whatever part of the bear entered the tent shredded the inflatable pad he was sleeping on.

After the encounter, the couple found the jacket Lauesen had been using as a pillow soaked in bear saliva that reeked of fish.

I hope they both brought clean underwear.

Fukushima Getting Blasted By Typhoon Man-yi,

Now that radioactive shit is getting spread all over the fucking place at high speed.

Doomsday in Japan? Radiation-Stricken Fukushima Power Plant in Direct Path of Typhoon Man-yi

As if its radiation concerns aren't enough, Japan might receive another radiation leaking problem from the same crippled Fukushima nuclear power plant. Typhoon Man-yi has started battering southern Japan, and its path has been forecast to directly hit the nuclear plant.

The typhoon, which has made landfall Monday morning in Toyohashi, Aichi prefecture, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency, is packing gusts of up to 162km/h.

Seen moving north-northwest at a speed of 45 kilometres per hour, Typhoon Man-yi will hit southern parts of the main island Honshu on Monday morning and then forecast to head northeast towards the capital and its surrounding region by noon. When it crosses the northeast, it will surely hit the Fukushima area.

If Typhoon Man-yi doesn't change course and pursues its known trajectory, it will unleash more contaminated water from the crippled Fukushima nuclear power plant that could possibly seep into the groundwater.

Public broadcaster NHK has reported that trouble from the heavy rains has reached Fukushima. One of the plant's fences have toppled over. Crews of Tokyo Electric Power Company (Tepco) are racing against time to keep highly contaminated water in reactor basements and tunnels from overflowing.

Not one single person on this whole planet could even begin to predict the after effects of a fucking typhoon blasting that already giant clusterfuck of a mess.

You can bet your homesick ass there is going to be sanitized reports come out of the joint no matter what happens though.

Whatever they say happened you can automatically at least double right from the get go.
I would imagine if they are already having trouble containing it now, when that huge amount of water gets dumped on it all at once no amount of pumping is going to keep up with it and a bunch of that shit is going to run off.

This is a disaster on top of a disaster.

Fuck You Mr. Murphy, I Win Again

Oh yeah, I got an extended visit from that cocksucker today.

My one day off, the weather is supposed to turn to shit tomorrow and I have some vehicle maintenance I want to get out of the way.

I figured I would start out simple, a thermostat swap out on my GM product.

The 83 GMC Caballero with the MONSTER 229 cubic inch V6 engine.

Alias a 3.8 liter.

Of course, I had to deal with this Murphy asshole a while back too.

For reasons only known to God and the hopefully long dead motherfuckers at General Motors, the 1983 model year had a choice of TWO 3.8 liter V6's. One, the 231 Cubic inch model, has the distributor in the front and mine, the distributor in the back.
Various other non interchangeable items like valve covers and shit also.

Stupid sonsabitches anyway.

The reason I know this is because Mr. Murphy was behind the counter at the local auto parts store a while back when I was trying to get some parts.

Anyways, the thermostat on a Chevy is right up front, two fucking bolts, a couple of hose clamps, BOOM, yer done.

Uhm, no.
Not today.

This thing has smog equipment completely covering the engine.

Hoses, vacuum switches , valves and wires everywhere.

So I take a bunch of this shit off and there it is.
I had everything right there and realistically this should have taken about twenty minutes.

Try eight motherfucking hours.

Two bolts.

The very first motherfucking bolt I laid a wrench on snapped off. An aluminum thermostat housing and intake manifold and steel bolts.

Well Hello there Mr. Murphy, you dick head.

Aluminum and steel when in close contact become a battery of sorts and electrolysis starts in.
I have no idea how long it's been since that thermostat was changed but those bolts were corroded so badly they were basically welded in.

After a few good tugs with a normal ratchet and socket, Mr. Murphy whispers in my ear and tells me a bigger ratchet will give me more torque and those stubborn bolts will just break right loose then.

Sure did, break that is.

As I whipped around cussing I swear I heard some maniacal laughter fading off into the distance.

I finally got the other one loose but now the fun starts.

I had planned on doing a whole bunch of maintenance on my and my wifes car today and every bit of that flew right the fuck out the window.

Of course I am out of penetrating oil too.
I used that up on my firearms last week.

Back to the fucking parts house. Ran into a paving project about two miles long that wouldn't let me turn left where I wanted to and wound up going straight fucking past the joint on the other side for a fucking mile in bumper to bumper traffic.

Finally got there and started ordering more parts while I was getting the penetrating oil.
Air filter, I found out the fuel filter was missing when I had to take the fuel line off the carb to get to one of the bolts so one of those, a motor mount for the wifes POS and a new temp sensor while I was doing the T-stat.

This is when my worst suspicions were confirmed about my car.

The fucking cocksucker has a computer in it!!

I almost cried.
It must have been the first year they came out with the damn things, clear back in '83.

I had been thinking with all the weird shit I kept finding on that engine that it probably had one.

Back to the house.

I soaked the bolt in penetrating oil and started in.

For those who have never had the distinct pleasure of removing a broken bolt in an engine, there is an art/science to it and you learn cuss words that haven't even been invented yet.

It didn't break off flush with the manifold, it is sticking up a good inch after I got the housing off.
I tried the vise grips, no luck. I tried the broken stud removers, no luck.
The fucking thing is right there in front of me but there are brackets and hoses kinda in the way and I don't feel like taking the front of the engine apart to get to this fucking thing. I tried every trick I know to get that bolt out but no.

Out comes the drill.

You would think it would be a fairly straight up task to just center punch the bolt in the middle and starting with a small drill bit, just work your way up until you can either get an easy out in it or far enough to just re tap the hole, wouldn't ya?

You would be so, so, very wrong though.
I have been a mechanic for thirty odd years now and I have run across lots and lots of broken bolts in my day and each and every one of the motherfuckers presents it's own unique challenges.

The very first and MOST IMPORTANT THING you do is make ABSOLUTELY SURE that when you center punch that bolt that you are EXACTLY in the center!

If you are off by the distance of an electron orbiting the nucleus of a helium atom away from center and start drilling, you are completely fucked from there on out.

I am not joking because that is exactly what happened to me today, again.
I drilled one bolt so perfectly a few years ago that when I was done, the only thing left were the threads.
It looked like a tiny, stretched out Slinky when I pulled the drill bit out.

Today, no such luck.

I started with a 1/16th drill bit, the smallest one in the index. I figured if it was off a little bit I could manipulate the hole with the next size up before I got real deep.
Fuck no.
The bigger the drill bits got the father away from one edge the hole got and the closer to the aluminum manifold it went.
I finally got a hole drilled all the way to the bottom, about a third of the diameter off.

Did I mention it was hotter than a half fucked fox in a fire today?
The humidity was outrageous too and I had sweat running off my bald head right into my eyes and dripping off the end of my nose all fucking day.
It was flat out fucking miserable.

As a parting shot, Mr. Murphy reminded me that I had told my daughter to bring her fucking car over today too.
She showed up right on schedule while I was in the middle of this fucking nightmare and I had to drop what I was doing and proceed to cuss her fucking car for an hour. The check engine light has been on and I hooked up my scanner and see that the oxygen sensor at the exhaust manifold isn't working at all.
That cost me a hundred and fifty bucks for a God Damn front oxygen sensor and of course I had to take a bunch of shit off to get to it.
Oh yeah, hers has all metric fasteners so out came a completely different set of tools .

After I got done messing with her car I had to stop and BBQ some steaks for dinner and then went back to my car.
I ended up with a fucking die grinder and a burr bit to move the fucking hole sideways enough to get another shot at a bigger drill bit and finally got the sonofabitch centered again. That was like brain surgery because those damn burr bits like to grab and rattle around in the hole at high speed and make it way bigger than what you want, real fast.
They eat aluminum at an alarming rate.
Then I had to re tap the fucking hole before finally putting the new thermostat in and tightening it up with new bolts.
Oh, you damn well know I put Never Seize on those fucking things! I think I had most of a complete tool box scattered all over the ground before I was done though.

But, Fuck You Murphy, ya fuckin' prick, I win.

I can hardly wait for next Saturday and the rematch that is surely going to take place.

It's Caturday

Jeeze, change the cat litter already!

No Connection

The fucking internet connection went tits up again Thursday and stayed off until sometime Friday evening while I was doing another twelve hour shift.

I swear that if I keep pulling this much overtime that I am going to start having my mail forwarded to work.

Anyways, I just got home and I am fried.

Gonna do a little catch up and then go fall down.

Hopefully tomorrow I will have a little something.

In the mean time, thanks fer stopping by.

The Closest You Will Ever Get To The Real Thing

If you EVER get the chance,

Go See This Show!

I was fortunate enough to see Aussie Floyd over in Portland several years ago and it still makes the hair on my arm stand up thinking about it.

I see by this video that their light show is even more fantastic than it was back then.

Even then I told all my friends that the light show alone was worth the price of admission and I meant every word of it.

These people are literally the closest you will ever get to seeing a live Pink Floyd concert again.

I can not find the words to tell you just how fucking awesome they are, right down to the backup singers.

They come to the states so get on the internet and find out how close they will be to you and make concrete plans to go see them even if you have to travel and stay in a fucking hotel overnight.

You will remember that concert till the day you die.

MSNBC's O'Donnell Sees 'NRA Versus the Voters' in Colorado, 'In Awe of' Defeated Democrats' 'Heroism'

Any more of you fuck heads want to step up "and do the right thing'? I'm sure we can find a suitable replacement for your stupid asses.

MSNBC's O'Donnell Sees 'NRA Versus the Voters' in Colorado, 'In Awe of' Defeated Democrats' 'Heroism'
By: Brad Wilmouth | September 12, 2013, 14:33 ET

On Wednesday's The Last Word on MSNBC, host Lawrence O'Donnell declared himself to be "in awe of" the two Democratic state senators who lost recall elections in Colorado this week as the MSNBC host lauded as "legislative heroism" their votes in favor of gun control and praised them as "willing to lose their jobs to do the right thing."
Lawrence, pull your pants up dude, that shit's embarrassing.

The Backlash Continues

I have to say that it warms the cockles of my black little heart to finally be able to see some good news in our fight for our Second Amendment protections.

First off this week of course, was the successful recall of two of the major backers of the draconian gun control measures passed in Colorado that went into effect recently.

That oughtta give some of the rest of those sonsabitches reason for pause in that arena.

The vote, which came five months after the United States Senate defeated several gun restrictions, handed another loss to gun-control supporters and gave moderate lawmakers across the country a warning about the political risks of voting for tougher gun laws.

The immediate effect of the recalls — the first of their kind in Colorado — was to remove two state senators, Angela Giron of Pueblo and John Morse of Colorado Springs, and replace them with Republicans.

The second bit of good news and of far greater import in my opinion was the reaffirmation of a Supreme Court ruling back in 2010 that said every city and state must abide by the Second Amendment .

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in 2010, in a case challenging Chicago's gun restrictions, that every state and city must adhere to the Second Amendment. The ruling did not strike down the Chicago restrictions directly, but sent the case back to a U.S. appeals court for review.

In December 2012, the appeals court ruled that Illinois's ban on concealed carry was unconstitutional and gave the state six months to create a law allowing guns to be carried in public.

That six month period is now up and amid much gnashing of teeth and rending of garments, the Chicago city council was forced to vote to remove a gun registry requirement that has been in place since 1968 and now must also get right with an Illinois law passed in July permitting concealed carry in that state.

Illinois approved a concealed carry law in July, giving control of gun regulations to the state and essentially nullifying Chicago's power to require that gun owners register their weapons and have a city firearms permit.
Chicago on Wednesday reluctantly abolished a 45-year-old requirement that gun owners register their weapons with the city, marking a victory for advocates of gun rights such as the National Rifle Association.

The city council voted to end the gun registry in place since 1968 to comply with court rulings against Chicago and Illinois gun control laws, and to bring the city into line with a state concealed carry law.

The sniveling of that little rat bastard Rahm Emanuel was especially sweet to my ears.

"I happen to think the court's wrong. I think their interpretation is wrong," Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said of the rulings that forced Chicago to eliminate the registry. He spoke after the council voted.

There is that word again, did you notice?

The clarion call of these gun grabbing motherfuckers.

The Second Amendment needs to be..... interpreted.

As I dance a little jig here in my humble abode over this very welcome good news, I am forever mindful that it seems two of these kinds of assholes seem to appear out of thin air every time we manage to finally get a win in on them but it is still very welcome news.

Oh, and by the way Rahm, I have a personal message for you ya little power mad freak.
I haven't forgotten who the architect of NAFTA is either.

Try This With Your "Sport Utility Vehicle".

Notice this old Dodge is only two wheel drive. Probably a little in line four cylinder engine with a manual transmission.

There are places in this video that a four wheel drive truck would have serious trouble with.

Those skinny fucking tires are the key.
They sink right through the crap to more solid ground.

Try this shit with a modern SUV and you will be calling someone with a long cable to pull yer ass back out because tow trucks don't go off the pavement.
Trust me, I know this from experience.

This video was sent to me by my Dad's cousin, she has got to be in her seventies by now and probably saw one of those old rigs as a child before it got scrapped out.

Notice the windows didn't even break out when they rolled it.

One Lucky Bastard

Quick reflexes too.

They probably had to pry his ass off that seat.
Pucker factor 10.

What They Said

This is just too cool.

In response to the planned “Million Muslim March” in Washington, D.C., on 9/11, bikers announced their own rival 2 Million Biker Ride. This weekend, news surfaced on blogs and Twitter that D.C. had denied the bikers an event permit.

Permit Denied to 2 Million Bikers to DC on 9.11.13…—
NoisyRoom (@terresamonroe) September 08, 2013

Washington DC has DENIED our permit for a no-stop ride through Washington DC. We find this regretful for the residents and businesses of that great city, and humbly offer our apologies. What could have been a one or two hour ride through will now likely be an all day event. We will be obeying all laws. We will be stopping at all stoplights, stop signs, and yielding to all pedestrians.

RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES OF WASHINGTON DC: On behalf of the National “2 Million Bikers to DC” Team, please accept our sincere apologies. We did the right thing and went through the proper channels to secure a no-stop permit to ride through your great city. We wanted to ride an established route, which would have taken us past the Viet Nam Memorial to the Lincoln Memorial, across the bridge into Virginia, and that’s it! We would have been completely out of Washington DC, and your city would have been back to normal.

The National Team fully expected our permit to be rejected, and have already drafted a Plan-B.

Plan B to include completely clogging the streets of D.C. for hours and hours.

Sometimes having a complete dick in the permit office in D.C. has awesome repercussions.

Our nations capitol is going to be a giant fucking parking lot.

Good job Mr. Dick permit denying dude!

Dear Prudence

This is my ficticious reply to an actual letter to "The Prude".

My husband is not invited to my niece's wedding.

Dear Prudence, I am one of four siblings, all in their late 50's/early 60's. I am a gay man who legally married my partner of 28 years earlier this year. Two of my sisters are lesbians with one married to her long time partner as well. The remaining sister, the youngest, is married with five children and is a devout Catholic. Her daughter is getting married soon and the invitation arrived the other day, addressed only to me. My other married sister's invitation was addressed only to her. I don't know what to do.

My dearest Nancy Boy,
"The Prude" called in sick today so I am being forced against my will to respond to stupid questions like yours today.
After some lengthy pondering and ball scratching, I think I have the perfect answer to your question.

The first thing you need to do is get with your other sisters, The Dykes and charter a bus.

Then you should get in your address book and invite about twenty of your most flamboyant friends to a party.
You know, the really loud and obnoxious ones.

Have your Dyke sisters get a hold of the meanest and ugliest Bull dykes they know and do the same.

Find two goats.

You might also consider hiring a professional to videotape everything.

Then on the appointed day, gather all of your fellow traveler's at the nearest Gay bar and start drinking tequila shots about two hours before the ceremony is scheduled to start.

Get good and sloppy drunk but make sure none of your Nancy Boy friends decides to get overly emotional and start causing a scene, yet.
Get everyone on the bus, don't forget the goats and go to the wedding chapel.

About three minutes after the ceremony starts, crash the wedding.Turn all of your sloppy drunk gay friends and the goats loose on the unexpecting guests.

Stagger up directly behind the bride and groom with your "husband",turn around and flip off your straight sister and her husband and then kneel down in front of your "husband" and proceed to go down on him in right in front of that tight assed bitch.

Make sure the video recording guy gets all this, especially when the police arrive to break up the ensuing riot.

Trust me,this should send her an unmistakable message she will never forget.

P.S., Send me a copy of that tape, I'm thinking there are some people who would pay money to see that.

What's The Story Here?

You Have Got To Be Shitting Me,107-year-old man killed in police shootout in Arkansas

This is so far off the charts there isn't even a horizon anymore.
What, ya couldn't just wait for the old fucker to nod off?

Beyond asinine, these fucking assholes should be afraid to show their faces in public.

107-year-old man killed in police shootout in Arkansas
(CNN) -- A man who police said was 107 years old was killed in a confrontation with SWAT officers Saturday night.

Police were called to a home in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, where suspect Monroe Isadore was.

"When they arrived, they were able to determine that an aggravated assault had occurred against two people at the residence," Lt. David E. Price, a Pine Bluff police spokesman, said in a statement.

The two victims were led out of the house.

It was not clear what role the suspect had in the aggravated assaults or what they were.

When officers approached a bedroom where Isadore was hiding, he fired through the door, authorities said.

None of the police officers was hit by the gunfire. They retreated to a safer area and called for additional help, including SWAT officers who started negotiations with the suspect.

SWAT officers slipped a camera into the room where Isadore was holed up and saw he was armed with a handgun, Price said.

After unsuccessful negotiations, officers slipped gas into the room through a window, he said, and Isadore fired rounds at them.

The officers broke the bedroom door and hurled in a distraction device, and Isadore fired at them again, according to the spokesman's statement.

Officers returned fire, killing him.

A hundred and seven.

Can you fucking BELIEVE this shit?

Jesus Christ.

I'm sure to listen to these Hut Hut Hut idiots when they peeked in this is what they saw.

Then they had to go change their underwear.

I don't give a rusty fuck what these punk assed bitches say, a hundred and seven year old man is going to take a fucking nap after a bit and all they had to do was order in a fucking pizza and sit down and wait.

Shame on you sonsabitches.

I Got Nothin'

12 hour day last night. When I got off at two this morning I had sixty two hours in so far this week. Today is Sunday and I have to go in again and I have no fucking idea when I am going to get off so I am looking at a seventy hour week, minimum.

My next day off is Saturday.

I can see I am going to be dragging ass all week.

I'll try and throw something up every day, even if it is just a link to someone who still has a functioning brain.

I Hear The Fishing Is Good Too.....

Kill The Wabbit!

Heh, this an example of just how my twisted mind works.
After the last post with the little cutie and the rabbit ears, this popped into my head.

Be Vewy Vewy Quiet, I'm Hunting Wabbits

Do You Feel A Draft?

Seein' A Little Red

A Little Red Rocker that is.

I love this tune, you will never hear it unless you own the album though.

Some more vintage Sammy, not everything he played was balls out.

I saw the guy in concert way the fuck back in the early 80's in the Portland Coliseum and I can still remember to this day that it was a kick ass show. I can't hardly remember what the hell I had for lunch yesterday anymore but I can still remember that concert.

Strange Bedfellows

OK, this caused me a brief episode of cognitive dissonance.

NRA joins spy lawsuit, says NSA creating gun registry

Michael Winter, USA TODAY 9:44 p.m. EDT September 4, 2013

Group joins lawsuit seeking end to spy agency's collection of Americans' phone records.

The National Rifle Association has joined a lawsuit against the federal government's sweeping surveillance program, claiming the collection of phone records and other data violates First Amendment rights and amounts to an illegal gun registry.

In supporting the American Civil Liberties Union's lawsuit, the NRA on Wednesday filed a supporting brief arguing the National Security Agency's datamining "could allow identification of NRA members, supporters, potential members, and other persons with whom the NRA communicates, potentially chilling their willingness to communicate with the NRA."

The NSA's phone database would let the government track whether gun owners called the NRA, gun stores, shooting ranges or others.

The brief also says the database "could allow the government to circumvent legal protections for Americans' privacy, such as laws that guard against the registration of guns or gun owners," thereby creating an illegal "national gun registry."

The ACLU welcomed the gun group's support.

Because the ACLU has alway been seen as a Liberal based entity and the NRA a deeply Conservative one, it just caused me a minute of confusion to see them partnering on anything in the first place although now that I have thought about it for a bit it does make sense, kind of.

They say that politics makes strange bedfellows and this would certainly qualify in my book but in our struggle to rein in an out of control surveillance state I applaud them both for taking the fight right to the governments doorstep.

Siskiyou County California Votes To Secede, Form New State

There has been talk of this for many years, both in Southern Oregon and Northern California but the Siskiyou County Board of Supervisors finally voted 4 to 1 to form a new state called "Jefferson".

California Gold Rush hotbed Siskiyou County votes to secede and form state of ‘Jefferson’
By Arturo Garcia

Leaders of a rural Northern California county are inviting communities in both California and Oregon to join them after voting on Tuesday to pursue seceding from the state.

The Redding Record Searchlight reported that the Siskiyou County Board of Supervisors approved a plan to form their own state, “Jefferson,” in a 4-1 vote, citing a lack of representation at the state level and complaints about a $150 fire prevention fee for homeowners in smaller counties like Siskiyou.

More than 100 residents reportedly packed the meeting, most of them supporting the decision. Only Board Chair Ed Valenzuela voted against the move, arguing that he was elected to uphold the current California state constitution.

“I signed on to work within the system I know,” the Los Angeles Times quoted Valenzuela as saying. “I don’t like it, I don’t agree with it all the time, but I did sign up for that and I will continue to do so.”

The Times also reported that officials in at least one neighboring county, Humboldt County, is considering a similar plan.

“I was one of the people who thinks the state of Jefferson wasn’t a bad idea,” Humboldt County Supervisor Rex Bohn told the Record Searchlight. “There has been a total lack of respect of our water rights and the fire fee. Those things may not be important to the rest of the state, but it’s important to us.”

Staff members for Rep. Doug LaMalfa (R-CA), who represents the area in Congress, were also reportedly at the meeting to support the board’s decision, but said whether he also backed the plan.

Supporters of the plan to secede argued that the proposed state would include not only Siskiyou County — which became a hotbed of activity during the California Gold Rush era after a gold strike in 1851 — but counties in both northern California and southern Oregon.

Fucking Idiots

Breaking news, ten minutes ago.

A divided Senate Foreign Relations Committee voted today to authorize a punitive U.S. strike against Syria, opening the way for a vote in the full Senate next week.

The vote was 10 to 7, with Democrats and Republicans on each side.

Committee Chairman Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) was among the supporters of the resolution, along with Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and ranking member Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.). Opponents included conservative Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and liberal Sens. Tom Udall (D-N.M.) and Chris Murphy (D-Conn.).

Walking It Back, Presidential Style

It seems to me that President Obama has gotten his tit in a wringer over this Syria business and now he is feeling the heat and wants out of the kitchen.

US President Barack Obama Wednesday urged world support for punitive strikes against Syria for its alleged use of chemical weapons, while Damascus vowed retaliation and resistance even if a third world war erupts.

Obama, fresh from efforts in Washington to secure bipartisan support for military intervention, said in Stockholm that the world had set "a red line" for Syria and it could not now remain silent in the face of the regime's alleged use of chemical weapons.

"I didn't set a red line. The world set a red line," Obama said, referring to international rules banning the use of chemical weapons, even in case of war.

"My credibility is not on the line," Obama said in remarks after arriving in Sweden for a two-day visit.

"The international community's credibility is on the line and America and Congress's credibility is on the line because we give lip service to the notion that these international norms are important," he said.

Gee, I might have killed a few million important brain cells over the years by partying too much but I am pretty sure I remember him saying that if Syria used chemical weapons, it would "cross a red line".

I love the power of the internet for shit like this, don't you?

August, 2012;

“We have been very clear to the Assad regime, but also to other players on the ground, that a red line for us is we start seeing a whole bunch of chemical weapons moving around or being utilized. That would change my calculus,” Obama said. “That would change my equation. . . . We’re monitoring that situation very carefully. We have put together a range of contingency plans.”

I wouldn't worry about your credibility Barry, it's already shot.

The Laguna Pirate Speaks For Me

Go read See Sea's latest post.
I can only say that I agree completely with what he says about the Supreme Court and the Supreme Law of the land.

Here is just a taste.

We have “laws” today in endless volume which violate the Supreme Law of the Land, the United States Constitution. In particular, most of these “laws” violate the Bill of Rights extensively. Now, seeing as how the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights are the Supreme Law of the Land, that would make these lesser “laws” unconstitutional, immoral, and therefore illegal.

Black Robes And Booby Traps.

I hoisted the colors a long time ago.

The Arm Twisting Is Working

After President Obama stuck his foot in his mouth and told the whole world that he doesn't need the approval of Congress to send U.S. military forces to attack Syria, someone pointed out to the man that such brash actions are an impeachable offense.

Must have struck a nerve there because now, one by one, the Chicken Hawks are coming home to roost.
This can only be attributed to behind the scenes political arm twisting.

It has already been reported that 90% of Americans do not want U.S. intervention in Syria.

Britain backed out, the UN wants nothing to do with it.

The President says he has absolute proof that Assad ordered the chemical weapons attacks on civilians in Syria.

Other news reports contradict that repeatedly.

Some suggest a low level Syrian army official ordered it, some suggest the insurgents did it and some claim it was a False Flag attack instrumented by CIA and Israeli intelligence.

All that seems to matter to Obama is that they crossed some imaginary Red Line and now his resolve is being questioned.

Boo Hoo.

Running your mouth before you have all the facts has been proven millions of times throughout history to result in black eyes and bloody mouths.

So now John McCain, Miss Lindsey Graham, Nancy Pelosi, Eric Cantor and even Mr. Weepy himself, John Boehner have all come out in support of a military strike against a country who has has done absolutely nothing to threaten this nation.

All because President Obama thinks we need to be the worlds police force.

This is, of course, no mere stroll in the park and go home activity.

These people are willfully committing U.S. armed forces, our bankrupt treasury and our standing in the world all because President Obama needs to prove a point.

I am reminded of the old saying about insanity being repetitive behavior expecting a different outcome.

It has been said that President Obama is a twelve dimensional chess player.

From what I see he had better get good at 52 card pick up because his house of cards is about to come flying apart.

It Must Be Labor Day

I just got called into work and will be there all fucking day.

I see I am going to have to explain to someone not to take the name of the holiday literally.

Oh well, can you say DOUBLE TIME AND A HALF?

I can.

You're Gettin' A Wet Ass Either Way Now Honey.

They Say That Idle Hands Are The Devil's Workshop

If that's the case then I wonder if he could spare a minion or two to finish building that little shelving project I have been working on, I'm tired.

Fuck me I have been busy.

Spent almost all fucking day yesterday trying to repair the fucked up garage door.

Whoever the dumbshit was that installed the door opener didn't adjust the pull lever right and the sonofabitch has been yanking the garage door horizontally when it starts to move instead of vertically that little bit to get the rollers over the curve at the top of the rails.
It finally bound up so tight it broke a fucking hinge in the middle of the door clear in half and then collapsed the main stiffener at the top of the door.
It then bent right in the middle and actually tore the fucking metal!

Once I finally got the fucking thing unhooked from the opener lever and all the way open the top of the door sagged in the middle about a fucking foot.

This was a while back, I ain't had time to mess with it but I had all three days off this weekend and figured it would be a good time to tackle it.

After assessing the damage and getting some kind of idea what I was going to need for materials I started calling around to all the steel yards in the area.

No answer.

Their ads all said they were open on Saturday to at least one, some clear to four o'clock.

About eleven thirty I said fuck it and drove over to Portland to the closest one.

Bigger than shit, the sign says they are open on Saturday with new hours, clear until four.

Bigger than shit too, the fucking gates are shut and locked.

After pondering this little problem, I remembered a hardware store a couple miles down the road in the neighborhood I used to live in twenty years ago so I headed over there.

Key words, little store.

I damn near drove right past it.
They expanded the joint to four times the size it used to be!

They did however, have the fucking steel I needed.

At three times the price.

Fuck me, almost a hundred bucks and I carried the shit out by myself.

So I spent most of the rest of the day taking the top of the garage door apart so I could get behind the ripped out stiffener and then cut, fitted and drilled a piece of one inch square tubing to fit in behind it under the lip at the top of the center section, installed some corner brackets to tie it all in to the rest of the stamped out Chinese sheet metal and then replaced the broken hinge.

It was quite a project and of course it was hotter than a half fucked fox in a forest fire in that garage with the fucking door shut.

I was sweatin' my ass off.

After I got it all back together I ran it up and something is still binding somewhere.

It looks like it should, everything is where it used to be, just a buttload more support in the middle.

Fuck if I know.

Of course the fucking electric opener won't pull it open so fuck that piece of shit for right now.
I can get it open and closed by hand and that is all I am after right now.
By the way, I now have about seventy five dollars worth of steel left over.

Jesus Christ Almighty.

I figured I had better get anything even remotely useful while I could at that fucking hardware store because you gotta know nothing was going to be open today if I needed something else.

I'll use it eventually on some damn project.

In the mean time it is laying in the middle of the fucking floor for me to trip over repeatedly.

After that little fiasco I took a break and then started in on cleaning and lubricating some rifles that I had also put off.

I also finally got around to installing the new mag release lever and the beefed up bolt lock piece for my 10/22 I have had laying around for six months.
Of course, true to form, while I had the damn thing apart the fucking scope slid down the rail.
I hastily put it on when I went to sight it in last month after I found out the Red Dot I bought was so far off I couldn't even tell where the bullets were going.

Now I have to go burn even more hard to find .22LR shells to sight the fucker back in.

I won't really go into the clusterfuck too much that I ran into over at my folks. there is more than I am going to get into here. I am glad I am able to help him out, fer Chrissakes, he was in the fucking hospital for two damn weeks and he is in no shape to be messing around with that kind of shit, besides, that's what kids are for anyway.

It's just that Murphy bastard. Just when a guy is in a slight hurry.......

I had pulled his giant motorhome out and put it in the front driveway so the windshield guy could put new windshields in it.

That involves the obligatory Vehicle rodeo of moving a bunch of damn cars around and then backing the behemoth out of the back driveway blind and all the way across the street into the neighbors driveway just to get out.

I went over there to put it back, did the rodeo thing and jumped in it to start the big Cat engine and it went "click, click".

As I was sitting in the drivers seat silently cursing like a Teamster I looked into the rear view mirror up in the middle and noticed a small ceiling fan all the way in the ass end of the prick turning verrrrry slowly.

More clusterfuck, every battery in the bastard was dead, six of 'em!! That fan had been running since Thursday at Noon.

Hauled out the fucking battery charger, let it sit for twenty minutes and it cranked over about three times and quit again.

By now it's starting to get dark and I need to be at home to BBQ dinner, the wife slept wrong and can't move her arm, head or neck without screaming.

I left the charger on trickle charge, came home, everything was still half frozen, it's now eight o'clock.
Fucked around on the computer, finally got dinner made then went back in the garage and started in on the home made shelf unit.

It ain't big, 24"X48" high but it's a mess as I am no kind of carpenter at all. It's basically a severe duty pallet stood on end with sides and shelves. Severe duty as in inch and an eighth thick tongue and groove boards for the back wall and one by twelve sides.

I'll finish it tomorrow.
I'm sure the neighbors were more than happy for me to quit hammering and sawing shit at midnight.

So, what all did you do this weekend, HMMMM?

Some Damn Good Story Tellin'

I know some of you at least must be familiar with Selous Scout over at Something Wicked Comes, he's been around quite a while now.

A good Survival info site for one thing but he is also a very talented writer to boot.
He has a repository of links on his sidebar to his writings and I very highly recommend you take the time to go check them out.

His story called The Cache is particularly good and I have to warn you now that if you start reading it, you won't stop, I'm serious.

You are by contrast, very lucky to be able to do that. When I first started reading it it was by installments. He would write a chapter and put it up and then you would have to wait until he put up a new chapter. Sometimes that took a while.

Now you can start in and when you get done with a chapter you can just go back to his home page and click the link for the next chapter.

It's a real page turner about a guy who has to bug out from work because TSHTF and is trying to run a gauntlet to get to his supply cache. Very believable and well thought out.

He also has another story called Tales From The Apocalypse you will like. and I am going to give you a taste of the latest installment in it.

When you are done here, head over there and take your time checking his place out, like I said, he has been around quite a while and is way overdue for a shout out.
Tell him Busted sent ya.

Here is just a small taste of his latest piece;
Tales Of The Apocalypse - Warlord III
Another September morning, much like the previous, raised its sleepy head and spilled the dawn from its bleary eyes. The early morning fog milled about, lost in its own cloak, seemingly unable to find its way. The crows once again acted as cheerleaders for the coming spectacle of a new day. The wilderness begin it's waking ritual as its inhabitants begin their daily routines.

The eyes which had watched him the previous night with such burning hatred were once again scrutinizing his location, noting the lack of activity from the nest in the cedars. There was not much to be seen as the branches did their job with green efficiency. Without tracking ability, they would have never found his location. The hide was just too well constructed.

The eyes belonged to a junior tracker from the house of the Owens family, of the Stehekin Free Peoples. His father had just had a kukri buried in his skull. At least the murderous scum who had killed him had given him the courtesy of a funeral pyre and not just left him to rot in the open, food for any passing beast or crawling thing. He was nervous to be in this place as it was too close to shunned areas.

The shunned areas were where the plague had ravaged the population to near extinction levels, and strange deadly beasts now found it a suitable abode with the absence of man. Some of the ForRangers roamed these areas, looking for spoils, hunting and foraging for the good of the Trybe. But they were mostly to the north, several hundred miles. The Trybe itself was approximately 300 miles northeast of where he lay in the fog.

He was Maddox Owens, nephew to Ted Owens, Patriarch of the House of that name. This was his first training mission, which was also to be revenge for the killing of his older brother, Jayms a few years before. Now he had his father to add to the list of names crying out in his mind for vengeance!

Now head on over and say Howdy!
