Its worth it. My wife has the .22lr / .410 shotgun combo, its pretty cool! Swapping out takes about a minute.
Combinations are great rifles, I have a Savage 24 30-30 Winchester over 12 gauge. Heavy a$$ gun, about 9 lbs unscoped. Versatile but heavy.
I'm holding onto my old Savage .22/20 gauge over under. It's my first choice for small game. Load it with 20 gauge slugs and it can take deer too.
