$3 gas?

Right.

Gasoline prices drop closer to $3 and could keep falling

Remember $3 gas? Well the price is headed down and might get back to that level again after more than three years.

The average price for a gallon of gasoline in the United States fell 6.4 cents in the last two weeks, as crude oil declined and refiners passed on the difference to motorists.

Some industry experts believe the price could keep falling, even below $3 per gallon for the first time in three years.

According to the latest Lundberg survey, the average price was about 31 cents lower than a year ago, based on the Sept. 20 survey of some 2,500 retail stations in the 48 contiguous states.

Trilby Lundberg, survey editor, said the rise came alongside a decline in the price of crude oil. Crude has fallen as Libya has produced more and there have been signs of diplomatic progress regarding Syria and Iran.

"California did buck the trend because of some recent hiccups in the California refining capacity affecting the West," Lundberg said. "Prices rose at the pump about 16 cents in California, but the spike has already died as those glitches have already been resolved."

Charleston, South Carolina, had the cheapest gasoline in the survey at $3.14 per gallon, while drivers in San Francisco, paid the most at $4.01 per gallon.

I paid $3.74 for gas just yesterday here in the Vancouver WA area.
Here on the Left Coast we get butt jammed for gas all the time.

Even though there are several refineries around here.

Somehow they either manage do be down for maintenance or burn the fuck down every damn year.

Did you know that even with record profits for the petroleum industry, we are talking BILLIONS of dollars every three months, that there has not been a new refinery built in this country since the 1970's?

That was forty years ago.

So yeah, I'll believe three dollar a gallon gas if and when I ever see it again.

I'm All Set

Just wanted to let you know - today I received my 2013 Social Security Stimulus Package. It contained two tomato seeds, cornbread mix, two discount coupons to KFC, an 'Obama Hope & Change' bumper sticker, a prayer rug, a machine to blow smoke up my ass and a 'Blame it on Bush' poster for the front yard. The directions were in Spanish.

Yours should arrive soon.

Earworm

Pretty easy on the eyes too.Mercy!

The Power Outage

We had a power outage yesterday and my internet, PC,
TV and games console shut down immediately.

It was raining so I couldn’t golf.

I couldn't see in the dark so I couldn't mess around in the garage either.

I had to talk to my wife for a few hours.

She seems like a nice person.

For SixBears And Sea See, Stay The Fuck Away From Phuket!

Damn,a fucking guy can't even build a fucking boat, on his own fucking property, in some fucking place called Phuket.
The jokes just write themselves.

Phuket Immigration cracks down on yachting, marine industry

PHUKET: Phuket Immigration chief Sunchai Chokkajaykij today confirmed that his office has launched a crackdown on foreigners working illegally in Phuket’s yachting and marine industry.

The news follows the arrests of a German man and a Swiss man who were caught building their own boats on their own properties in Chalong late yesterday afternoon.

“We have been targeting foreigners working illegally for some time, and right now we are focusing on the yachting and marine industry,” Col Sunchai said.

“I cannot reveal where we will raid next, as we don’t want to give any warning to those who are breaking the law,” he added.

However, Col Sunchai gave a general warning to all foreigners involved in any form of marine transport: “We will check everywhere there are boats – the ports, the piers – everywhere,” he said.

One of the illegal boats pictured above.

I have no idea why it is against the law in Thailand for foreigners to build a boat on their own property but SixBears and Sea See have both built boats at home and I thought they might find some irony in this.

It's Caturday

I think this fucking cat has some identity issues.

Tunisian girls 'head to Syria to offer themselves to Islamic fighters as part of sexual jihad'

Reports spread on internet calling for girls to offer themselves to fighters
Tunisian media said 13 girls traveled to rebel-held Northern Syria

At least 13 Tunisian girls reportedly traveled to rebel-held Northern Syria to offer themselves as sex workers to opposition fighters.

The report comes as concerns in Tunisia grow about religious orders or 'fatwas' that have circulated the internet calling on women to perform jihad through sex.

Last week, a Tunisian minister of religious affairs appealed to girls not to be influenced by Islamic preachers outside of Tunisia who, it has been reported, made a number of 'sexual fatwas'.

Here is an example of the sensuous delights they can look forward to in a rare exotic setting otherwise known as a bathtub to the rest of us.

Yeesh.
I'd rather fight.

Nice But I Don' Wanna Visit

Yeah.

I deleted the last post. After sleeping on it I figure it probably wasn't such a good idea to leave that up.

A little venting is all. Yeah, that's the ticket, venting, yeah.

Nothing to see there anyway.

I know that nothing ever truly disappears forever on the internet but making someone search is preferable to leaving it in plain sight.

I'm innocent man.

So Where's The Outrage?

For years and years there has been a low grade howling that occasionally peaks at an ear shattering crescendo over gun control. It's like clockwork.

There is a new study that just came out that shows medical malpractice deaths dwarf gun deaths, automobile deaths and accidental deaths, combined.

This new study shows that the problem is so rampant that they estimate it to be the third leading cause of death in America trailing only heart disease and all cancers combined.

In 2010, the Office of Inspector General for Health and Human Services said that bad hospital care contributed to the deaths of 180,000 patients in Medicare alone in a given year.

Now comes a study in the current issue of the Journal of Patient Safety that says the numbers may be much higher — between 210,000 and 440,000 patients each year who go to the hospital for care suffer some type of preventable harm that contributes to their death, the study says.

That would make medical errors the third-leading cause of death in America, behind heart disease, which is the first, and cancer, which is second.

What kind of outrage do we hear about this?

Crickets.

It seems medical malpractice isn't so messy and visually in your face.

It's nice and tidy.

My father almost kicked the bucket recently because a new doctor he was seeing prescribed him a new heart medication that built up in his body and started poisoning him.

He was in the hospital for two weeks and had multiple "heart episodes" which is hospital speak for heart attack.
The medicine burned his lungs chemically. This was misdiagnosed as pneumonia at one point and he kept taking the medicine until it finally put him in the hospital.
His regular doctor finally figured out what the problem was but not before it damn near killed him.

This is just one example of the now estimated Half A Million People A Year that die because of medical malpractice yet you do not see angry mothers on the television demanding action, do you?

This country has it's priorities fucked up and it is the media and special interests who are fanning the hysteria.

I expect we will see more about this issue in the near future though.

Above And Beyond Technical Help

I swear,I have never seen someone able to help a complete stranger with an electrical/cable problem by using not one, but two Blogs!

I was pitching yet another fit about my internet connection again the other day and got a few comments but one of the commenter's went way the hell above and beyond to help me try to figure out what the hell is wrong, over the internet!

Where real life professional cable technicians have tried repeatedly and failed, SteveieRayV from Your Crazy Uncle Bubba fame may have just pulled off a win that can't be believed.

He is an ex cable tv tech and obviously knows that of which he speaks.

He was nice enough to offer me some tips and things to look for in the comments but when it came down to something I wasn't able to visualize, he went the extra mile and took pictures of what he was talking about from his own house and then put them in a special post on his Blog , just for me......

I really don't know what to say except Thank You from the bottom of my heart.

That has to be one of the top ten nicest damn things I have ever seen for someone to do for a person they don't even know.

I will be out there tomorrow replacing that mess,it certainly has to be a big part of the problem, and when I am done I am going to send StevieRayV an Email letting him know how it turned out.

I think I can honestly say I owe him a jug just for what he has done already.

You sir, are The Man.

Debunking The Media Lie That No Mass Shooting Was Ever Stopped By An Armed Citizen

I have been seeing this bald faced lie repeatedly the last couple of days and it needs to be rebutted, hard.

The cocksuckers in the media are hammering the anti gun agenda and they are using blatant lies coupled with subtly biased graphics and commentary.

The following is a list of NINE TEN potential mass shootings that were stopped cold by either armed private citizens or law enforcement officers.

Pass this around and shove the nearest gun grabbers face in it.

1. The Pearl High School shooting.

2. The Parker Middle School dance shooting.

3. The Appalachian School of Law shooting.

4. The New Life Church shooting.

5. The Trolley Square shooting.

6. The Golden Market shooting.

7. The New York Mills AT&T store shooting.

8. The Clackamas Town Center shooting.

9. The San Antonio Theater shooting.

Update;

My thanks to Robert The Biker in the comments for reminding me of the Fort Hood Shooting that was stopped by a lady MP.

10. The Fort Hood Shooting.

That's an even ten.

H/T to FARK for the link to BUZZFEED.

I'm Glad To See You Too!

There Is a Club And You Ain't In It

Ever hear of something called "Diplomatic Immunity'?

It's real.

Here is a quirky example of something similar right here in Washington State,

It's the law: Washington state lawmakers don't get speeding tickets

Washington state legislators headed to work can't get speeding tickets -- or so says the Washington State Patrol and at least one local police department.

A spokesman for WSP says Washington lawmakers are constitutionally protected from receiving noncriminal traffic tickets during a legislative session, as well as 15 days before. A spokeswoman says The Tacoma Police Department abides by a similar policy.

State Patrol spokesman Bob Calkins says the privilege not only applies to moving violations near the state Capitol in Olympia, but potentially anywhere in the state.

The logic? Detaining lawmakers on the road -- even for the time it takes to issue them a speeding ticket -- may delay them from getting to the Capitol to vote.

Theoretically one of these weasel fuckers could be all the way across the state and get pulled over and all they have to do is lie through their teeth and say they are trying to get to the Capitol to vote. Washington isn't a little state either.

Shit, in some parts of this state I wouldn't bet the cops wouldn't give them an escort to the county line.

I'm sure this is some throwback law from when the state wasn't that old but works for a nice get out of trouble free card for the worthless bastards.
