Thud

I got called in to work yesterday, my day off, wound up there beating my head against the wall doing some absolutely infuriating shit using junk parts on a multimillion dollar piece of equipment that they have known is fucked up for months, for thirteen fucking hours straight.

I am not going to go into details, I'm not going to rant and rave and I'm not going to threaten anyone with physical violence, yet.

I am too fucking tired.

Someone is going to get an earful tomorrow though.

Fucking cunts.

My lovely wife worked in a medical lab on the night shift. One of her jobs was to keep the machines serviced and running. They were junk and it took most of her time to service them. In the morning they'd give her crap for not getting all her tests done. Nobody believed her that that the equipment needed so much servicing and repair every night. Finally she quit. Within a week they replaced 3 major pieces of equipment. No one else could get the old ones running.

Greetings, Busted. I've been out of the blog world for a while, and the Gruff Lord too. I'm debating how to begin again, start a new blog, etc. So I'm checking back in with my favorites. Glad to see you're still wild and cussin. :) Handmaiden.

Sounds like you work in a mill.

Production, production, production.

Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead.

Yeah, I worked in a plywood mill for 8 years. I know the mindset.

Patricia!!!!

Hello!
It is so good to hear from you again.
What a coincidence about the blogging.

Not two weeks ago I was thinking of both of you, had been for a while and i looked up both of your old blogs and went through them looking for an Email address to see if I could drop you a line and see how you were doing.

By all means my dear, get those fingers busy and make sure you let me know where you are blogging at so I can put you on the blog roll.

Please give my regards to The Gruff Lord.
Reading through your archives caused me to miss you both. Tell the stubborn gentleman that he still has a fan in me.

I am sincerely interested in how you have been getting along and what you think about how far our nation has slid closer to the abyss.

How cool, this is great news.

It's a mill and I am a millwright now but they do not "make" anything.
They provide a service heat treating metal parts and it is as you say, production, production, production.

We literally have to tell them we are taking the machine and it will be down X amount of hours for maintenance if it isn't already broke down.
