Why Can't We Live In Peace?

Because there are way too many fucking assholes on this planet for one thing.

This is an excellent fucking tune by The Firm back in '84. Paul Rogers of Bad Company fame and everyones favorite Led Zeppelin character, Jimmy Page.
For the life of me I could never figure out why they didn't release this one. It was never played on the radio at the time. I stumbled on it way back when they played it for a broadcasted concert, may have been Live Aid or something like that.

I never forgot it.
I hope you never do either.

While viewing the video, I remembered the song almost imediately, which meant I would have to have had the album. (actually it was a cassette)
Here it is....

And if I could find it on CD, it would come home with me. One of the few bands to field some proper music to the 80s in an otherwise sea of stupid music fads. Wish the Firm had been around a bit longer.

Thanks for the link and the comment.

By some miracle that is one I never managed to add to my collection at the time. I will have to rectify that situation.
