The Iranian government has been attacking US interests and personnel for decades, either directly or through proxies. They threaten the US with death and destruction while working to develop more powerful means to attack us. They are fervently opposed to peaceful coexistence. As such, one side or the other, the USA or Iran, will eventually be destroyed. It is better for us that Iran is destroyed. It is the most rational decision.

Attacking Iran was perfectly rational.
Destroying Iran would also be perfectly rational.

As such, one side or the other, the USA or Iran, will eventually be destroyed. It is better for us that Iran is destroyed. It is the most rational decision.
