People that don't deal with this on a regular basis DON'T understand this, most especially if they have no idea How Things Work, Personally, as an Engineer, this is childs' play to me, but I used to look at this stuff as a kid and lost all hope that I would be able to understand it! Guess it all depends...

I grew up working on cars as a kid. If an engine wouldn’t start is was either spark or fuel. It was all practical knowledge. It wasn't until I took high school physics did I learn the theory behind circuits.
