Make cars simple to work on again!

Pretty sure they don't want us working on em. Might remove some smog device or worse yet improve performance. You know, hot rod!

I agree that simpler is easier if you want to turn the wrench yourself (my 'toy' is a '62 F250, and I can actually fix things on it!) On the other hand, I remember my parents celebrating when they got a car to turn over 100,000 miles -- they figured they got it to last longer than anyone had a right to expect. Nowadays, I will feel cheated if my vehicle can't go over 200,000 miles, and there's lots of folks out there who have cars or trucks that are well past that point. So there's something to be said for the durability nowadays.
