I'm old enough to remember those being the sole source of heat in many homes when I was a kid.

Nice.
Whish I had it
Currently have a thirty year old Amish made version in my Alaskan home. Provides most of the heat in the main house but have a small wood stove in the addition. Over the years I have had other wood ranges in two other houses I have lived in.
