A lightly loaded 18 with a blower and a "pilot" who knows the quick way through the gates can be surprisingly " sporty", especially compared to a long-haul "tour bus". Plus most have a convenient recreational facility close to the cockpit. Trading up from Gramps to the Princess is common sense and good for morale. Those interstellar rest stops can be such a drag.
