When a full grown man can not handle an 8 year old child without resorting to using restraints, he should not be allowed to be in law enforcement in the first place.
When he does it twice, you're damn right there should be lawsuits.

The thing that bothers me is, that I have not seen what precipitated this event. I have an old friend who works with "children" who have threatened and attempted bodily harm upon an adult (with lethal weapons no less). So, where do you draw the line? How about a straight jacket? I do believe that it takes more than one person to get one donned on an uncooperative individual, so in this case, that apparently wouldn't work.... so, my next thought is that the media cherry picked the selected video? as usual...
In any case, the kid could only hurt himself at that point. Kinda like Freddy Gray. Po white boy. Good grief. Stepson (older and bigger) got put in the hospital after he tried to beat the crap out of a LEO one time. The LEO won, but he had to go to the hospital as well....Yada etc.
