Tsarnaev Jury Reaches Decision In Penalty Phase Of Boston Bombing Case

I don't think I have to articulate what my thoughts are on this if you have been around here long. The quicker the better.

BOSTON — The jury has come to a decision: A sentence for Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev -- death by execution or life in prison -- is expected at 3 p.m. today. After more than two days of deliberations, the federal jury will delivered its verdict, closing one of the most painful chapters in Boston's history.

The judgment comes from the same group of seven women and five men who found Tsarnaev guilty on all 30 counts related to the April 15, 2013, bomb attacks and four-day manhunt. The jury found him responsible for killing four people, seriously maiming 17 and injuring hundreds more.

The only trouble is it takes an average of 15.5 years before they get the needle.
