With All The Recent Fun Going On In Baltimore, Is Anyone Else Starting To Notice A Pattern Here?

If you haven't then I suggest you just go back to sleep.

(
Reuters) - Thousands of police in riot gear and National Guard troops patrolled Baltimore to enforce a curfew on Tuesday night, dispersing protesters with pepper spray a day after the city was shaken by the worst rioting in the United States in years.

With helicopters overhead and armored vehicles on the ground, most people respected a curfew that started at 10 p.m. EDT (0200 GMT Wednesday) and goes until 5 a.m. all week.

But a few hundred people defied authorities, gathering at an intersection that was the scene of heavy looting in the largely black city a night earlier. Police broke up the group using rubber bullets and projectiles with pepper spray chemical irritant, and arrested seven people. Three more were arrested elsewhere in the city.

Baltimore erupted in violence on Monday hours after the funeral for a black man who died April 19 after he was injured in police custody a week earlier.

There is most definitely a pattern emerging here, look to the recent events in Ferguson MO just in case you have short term memory issues.

The Mayor of Baltimore calling for the police to step aside and let these animals burn off some energy so to speak, along with a few hundred cars and buildings, was a catastrophic dereliction of duty in my opinion.

Of course she is walking that back as fast as she can .

Even that didn't work out so good.

You apparently can't be calling rioting, looting and burning hooligans "Thugs" without someone getting all butthurt anymore.

In a news conference Monday night, she faulted the media, saying, "It is very unfortunate that members of your industry decided to mischaracterize my words and try to use it as a way to say that we were inciting violence."

But in the same news conference, mayor set off a fresh firestorm with more comments.

"It is idiotic to think that by destroying your city, you're going to make life better for anybody," she said. "Too many people have spent generations building up this city for it to be destroyed by thugs who, in a very senseless way, are trying to tear down what so many have fought for."

Her use of the word "thugs" was met by accusations of racism against Rawlings-Blake, a 45-year-old Democrat who has received recognition for her achievements as a minority, including an award for being a trailblazer from the National Congress of Black Women.

Damned if you do and damned if you don't. Don't worry about me though, I won't be calling them Thugs, I have too much respect for a genuine Thug.

These ignorant sonsabitches running around all jacked up and burning parts of their own cities down , are they trying to make a point here?

Because the only thing I am getting out of it is that there are some stupid motherfuckers living in these cities.
There used to be a saying about cutting off your nose to spite your face, these people have taken that to a new level.

The pattern I am seeing is that these people are getting bolder and bolder every time I read one of these stories and don't let anyone try and convince you that some jackass running out of a store that is being looted with an arm load of Oreo cookies gives a flying fuck about whoever got killed by the Po Po the week before.
I'll call bullshit on that every time.

Get used to seeing this crap more and more, there is always going to be something that these kinds of lawless fuckers will use as an excuse to burn and loot and now that they are basically getting away with absolute lawlessness it will be coming to a city near you.

They aren't smart enough to see the long term consequences of shitting in their own nest yet but I am very much hoping to see stories later of how much they are enjoying living in the burned out shell of a city that they helped destroy.

Who am I trying to kid?

You can set your clock by the timing of the stories that will be coming out next year about the hardships these poor innocent souls are having to endure due to the actions of a few imaginary bad people who only exist in the past and aren't still hanging around the same street corner they were this time last year, fondling a warm Zippo and munching on a bag of Oreo cookies.

That mayor is only using this position as a stepping stone - check out this story.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if the connections lead all the way up to Pennsylvania Boulevard or handlers of the WH.

Why does that not surprise me?

paid rioters?

Well, first of all there isn't a city near me, and that's the way I like it. Kinda hard to riot with a handful of people. The rioters will get to live in a burned out husk with no services. "Community Leaders" will use these incidents to grab political power.
