Very Nice Rifle



Some clown I know stumbled onto a smokin' deal last night and picked up one of these with all the goodies.


Ruger .243 MKII.

Stainless steel.

Synthetic stock.

Sling.

Scope.

Looks Brand Spanking New.

Looking at them on the intertubes I see them going from $600 and up without the scope.

Crusty The Clown guy got it for three bills


It's not Hot, either.

Dammit, some guy's have all the luck.

My favorite rifle in my favorite caliber. I do prefer blue and wood though. With a 100 gr SP bullet that's a deer killing SOB.

Timing is everything ;-) - but WHY does it always seem as if it is always someone else who has the right timing other than the rest of us?

Sweet find there - stainless with synthetic stock - great for high humidity rainy environments - just up your alley. It is a very light recoiling round too so it will not beat your shoulder up. $300 - VERY nice indeed! Ammunition is available too.

Its a bit light for big game, so accuracy is very important. If you do your job, it will do fine.
