I know this makes me want to cry.
I thought I recognized that shade of green. I see the plates are from here in Washington state.
That's the same green moss that ate completely through a brand new paint job on my Sprite after I left it out in the weather for a year. The front of it looks like it got hit by a 12 gauge blast of rock salt now.

Gives me a Chubby.....I see a neat project coming up...
"And all the Jag could see were my six taillights...."
That picture was in Motor Trend Classic some years back.
The car was NOT for sale, as the owner was "planning on restoring it".
The frame, brakes, and steel structure inside the fiberglass are junk by now. You'd have to spend $100k (or more) to get that car properly restored.......
That green mold will completely destroy everything eventually.
I would imagine there were probably mushrooms growing in the carpet even when this picture was taken.
The combination of weather, rust, mold, mildew, moss and humidity is absolutely merciless around here and will eat a car to a green unidentifiable lump in ten years if left unchecked.
It wouldn't surprise me one bit if it also didn't eat up the fiberglass body....
Some peoples kids
'63 Split rear window. At 74 I'd give my left nut for it even in that condition. Hell, at 74 neither nut works anyway!
The only reason I'd take that car as it sits is to flip it.
You're looking at $80k~$100k to restore it.
Been there, done that, and the receipts to prove it.....
Does it matter how it gets offed?ðŸ˜
