The End of the American Dream

Take a couple of minutes and head over to The Federalist to see 22 reasons why the American Dream is dead and the Middle Class is fucked.

# 13 is very telling,

#13 If you have no debt and you also have ten dollars in your pocket, that gives you a greater net worth than about 25 percent of all Americans.

With the amount of personal debt being carried in this country I don't know why that surprised me.


Wait until you see how much ground the Middle Class and the Ultra Poor have lost since the year 2000, it's no wonder we are all feeling the pinch.

Some of the other ones on the list will make your eyes pop out.


Head on over, it will just cheer you right up.

similar to a whole bunch of newsletters and columns predicting doom going back five decades. They always aggregate all the negative news they can find and ignore any and all counter-arguments, other than disparaging them. There is a whole cottage industry of doomsayers and like the media, "If it bleeds, it leads."
Someday these guys may be right, but if you followed their advice for the last fifty years, you would have missed out of compounding your money into impressive returns.
I'm being dismissive, I know, but these guys' track records have been dreadful.
