So Far So Good

It's been a couple of days now without a cigarette.

I can see why people gain weight when they stop smoking, lucky for me that is the least of my worries.

There have been a few moments but the real test is coming up because work beckons.

I can also see already that this is going to be challenging because there are so many of them I want to do this to as it is.

I quit cigarettes after they killed my father. Been done 13 years now; real glad to have the fucking monkey off my back.

Good luck friend.

Good Luck. I made it nine years until I was sitting in the desert in Iraq where smoking was all we were allowed to do.

I would lo to tell you how easy it is but after five fucking days, I am still having withdrawal cravings.

Not all the time, just once in a while but I could pick up a cigareette like I just stopped an hour ago.

The thing is, I know that it would taste like shit now.

So, I am stuck with the occasional craving.

Get big bags of hard candy, I'm serious.
Find something to do with your hands and keep your mouth busy with the candy.

It takes time but you can do it if you want to badly enough and I want to.
