In my line of work, I write materials, videos, manuals, etc. to train people from pilots to fly jumbo jets and mechanics to maintain them to call center folks to resolve issues - not solve problems - to organ transplant staff to navy communications people to Harrier pilots. In other words, I have gotten to work and hang around with people who know how to do things, most of them things with their hands. Machinists for a lil' ole airplane company in these parts, on the factory floor, who can fabricate parts for the airplanes, and very few of them have anything more than a few college courses under their belts, if that. Bring back shop!
