Off To Harbor Freight

I am about to go try and get that mini lathe loaded up in the back of the El Camino without frying my lower back and then head across the river to Gresham where the wife got it so I can return it and order the 7X12 unit.
I am rounding up all the gift cards, have the receipt in my falling apart wallet and fully expect this to turn into giant hassle.
I waited one day because you just know that place was a friggin' nightmare yesterday with everybody returning stuff.

While I am there I am going to load up the wooden work bench also.

When I went to work yesterday I wound up being the only guy from maintenance there. One guy had scheduled the day off and the other one called in sick.
Of course there was a machine they had been working on that took a giant dump right after I got there and they had to call one of the dayshift guys back to help me out because it was a Lock Out, Tag Out situation where an attendant was need for a confined space entry. My boss had to attend while the other guy did the confined space entry while I went down one level underneath the fucking thing to do the major portion of the repair. It was one of those can't be in two places at once deals.

For once one of those dayshift guys got a taste of what I have to deal with all the damn time, getting called back in right as you get home.

I wasn't horribly busy after that but I did notice the time seemed to have flown by when I noticed I hadn't eaten lunch an hour after we usually eat and ten o:clock got there awful quick too.

So I'm headed out to the garage here in just a minute and off to TCOB.
I have no idea how long it's going to take for this other lathe to show up but there is no hurry on it, I have plenty to keep me busy in the mean time.
We'll see if I get back in time for a regular post or not.

I have found that Harbor Freight (at least my local store) has no issues with returns. They treat me well when I am not happy.

Let us know how it goes!
