I'm wondering if that isn't a Detroit Diesel screaming away and that splitter box shifter is just too cool. The thing sounds pretty healthy to me.
The whole rig is way cool, love the dashboard.

It sounds good but only two shifters? The Mack Thermodyne shift pattern would have you reaching through the steering wheel to hit all 3 shifters when required.
Having worked on some Mac trucks in my day this does not surprise me.
They have their own way of doing things sometimes.
