A horse fly landed in the middle of his forehead. He flipped the saw sideways, and while it was still running, killed the fly with the flat of the bar. Then he continued sawing. Only later did it occur to him that maybe he could have cut his face off. <br /><br />However, my grandfather was the tough one. Split his kneecap with an axe. Pushed the bits back together. Sewed it up himself and kept working. <br /><br />How these guys got to be old is beyond me. Maybe Mr. Death was afraid of them until they got old.
