We Live In Interesting Times

Interesting, not good.
The fun has started in the bubble popping department though.

Dow Plunges 350 Points, Worst Drop of 2015, Amid Ongoing Greek Crisis

U.S. equity markets posted their biggest selloff of the year Monday amid the ongoing crisis in Greece as investors weigh the possibility of the nation's exit from the eurozone.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average plunged 350 points, or 1.95% to 17596. The S&P 500 shed 43.9 points, or 2.09% to 2057, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 122 points, or 2.4% to 4958.
Both the Dow and S&P 500 slipped into negative territory year-to-date with Monday’s selloff. All ten S&P 500 sectors were in the red led by a steep drop in banks and brokers.

Notice they haven't even started shitting themselves over Puerto Rico, yet.

Oh this is going to get really fucking interesting here shortly.

Can you say Blood Bath?

Monday, Monday

The start of another work week.

Every Once In A While I Get A Hankerin' For An Ice Cold Beer

I know better than to have one though.
There ain't no such thing as sipping on a cold beer where I am concerned.
One would lead to ten and after three years of being sober I really don't need to start down that road again.
I'd be a lying sonofabitch if I said I didn't want one once in while though, especially as hot as it was around here the last few days. But no.

Then I see shit like this......

I can tell you they never had stuff like that in any of the bars around here.

Thank God.

Hey Millennial's,It's Your Turn

Us Baby Boomers are starting to thin out finally and now for the First Time, Millennials outnumber us.

Millennials Outnumber Baby Boomers and Are Far More Diverse, Census Bureau Reports

JUNE 25, 2015 — Millennials, or America’s youth born between 1982 and 2000, now number 83.1 million and represent more than one quarter of the nation’s population. Their size exceeds that of the 75.4 million baby boomers, according to new U.S. Census Bureau estimates released today. Overall, millennials are more diverse than the generations that preceded them, with 44.2 percent being part of a minority race or ethnic group (that is, a group other than non-Hispanic, single-race white).

These latest population estimates examine changes among groups by age, sex, race and Hispanic origin nationally, as well as in all states and counties, between April 1, 2010, and July 1, 2014.
Even more diverse than millennials are the youngest Americans: those younger than 5 years old. In 2014, this group became majority-minority for the first time, with 50.2 percent being part of a minority race or ethnic group.

Reflecting these younger age groups, the population as a whole has become more racially and ethnically diverse in just the last decade, with the percentage minority climbing from 32.9 percent in 2004 to 37.9 percent in 2014.

So now it is time for all you younger folks who have been blaming us for everything under the sun to step the fuck up and start taking your best shots at trying to fix everything.

Let me be up front here and tell you out of the gate that the deck is stacked against you.

While you may outnumber us Boomers, you will soon find that you in turn will be outnumbered by the total sum of minorities in about fifteen or twenty years so you had better act fast.Like the old adage told to the teenagers some of you are, hurry up and move out now while you still know everything.
It's not that we are done by any means, you all still have to mature a bit more before you start pulling the levers of power in any great numbers but time is of the essence so put the cell phones down kiddies and get busy.

Since I will be unable to retire in the old sense of the word, I will still be out there doing what I can to keep from having my wife and myself from eating canned cat food until I expire but in the mean time I can tell you that I am going to enjoy watching you little shits make a mess of things at your own pace immensely.

Sunday

I'll be sleeping in today.
Enjoy these cuties then hit Ye Olde Blogroll until I find something of interest.

Attention Justice Department, This Is How It's Done

Too big to fail my ass, this is exactly what needs to happen on a large scale in this country.

Kaupþing executives jailed

Six defendants in the Kaupþing market manipulation case, the biggest case of this type in Iceland’s history, have been handed prison sentences ranging from one year to four years and six months.
By fully financing share purchases with no other surety than the shares themselves, the bank was accused of giving a false and misleading impression of demand for Kaupþingi shares by means of deception and pretence.
Former Director of Kaupþing, Ingólfur Helgason, is to be jailed for four years and six months.
The other sentences are as follows:
  • Bjarki Diego, former Credit Manager: two years and six months
  • Einar Pálmi Sigmundsson, former Director of Proprietary Trading: two years (suspended)
  • Birnir Sær Björnsson and Pétur Kristinn Guðmarsson, proprietary trading executives: eighteen months (suspended)
  • Sigurður Einarsson, former Kaupþing board chairman: one year
Hreiðar Már Sigurðsson, former Director of the bank, received no further penalty, having previously been sentenced in the ‘Al-Thani affair’.
The two remaining defendants, Björk Þórarinsdóttir and Magnús Guðmundsson, were acquitted of all or most charges.

Notice that this is not an isolated case?

When you start enforcing some of those thousands of laws we have on the books and  some high level executives start serving lengthy jail sentences for the ongoing criminal enterprise activities that persist to this day after almost causing the entire worlds economy to crash, then maybe you can start worrying about how us white folk are such dangerous motherfuckers.

You Go Granny!

This cracked my ass up, I can just see this old gal yelling at the bastards to wipe their shoes off too.

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (AP) — An 88-year-old woman has been charged with assaulting police who responded to her western Massachusetts home, which turned out to be the wrong address.

The Berkshire Eagle (http://bit.ly/1QUyd0Y ) reports that officers went to the home of Phyllis Stankiewicz on Thursday following a report of a disturbance involving someone with a baseball bat.

Police say Stankiewicz opened her front door while wielding a knife and slapped an officer, after telling police there was no crime there and yelling at them to leave. Authorities later said the disturbance report was actually for a home a block away.

Stankiewicz pleaded not guilty Friday in District Court to assault and battery on a police officer and was released on her own recognizance. She declined to comment when reached by phone by The Associated Press.

Everybody Should Be Happy Now, All The Gays Can Get Married.

I knew this would be coming as soon as I saw that this Supreme Court was going to make a decision, it was a foregone conclusion.

Personally?
I could give a fuck. This country is doomed already and I have things that are much more important to worry about.

So, now that the sex problem has been taken care of, corporations should be next in line because hey, they are people too according to this same bunch of ultimate judges of all things Constitutional.

Mergers are so yesterday, let's throw them lavish parties with gifts and money trees, watch as they take their vows and see all the glowing and happy shareholders slow dancing together, then then butter up some popcorn while they soon come to hate the sight of each other, and watch the divorce proceedings.
They could make a reality show about it.

So this landmark ruling saying that anyone can marry anyone should shut these people the fuck up, right? They got what they wanted now they should get on with their lives and get out of our faces.

How much you wanna bet that ain't gonna happen?

TGIF

It's gonna be another scorcher.

If you can, find a nice cool spot and hide.

Heat Wave

It's going to be in the triple digits around here the next couple of days from what I hear.

I have to go to work now, where there are giant furnaces and hot parts all over the place.

Yay.

See ya when I see ya.

Pentagon rewrites ‘Law of War’ declaring ‘belligerent’ journalists as legitimate targets

It looks to me like the Pentagon has pretty much declared Open Season, on everybody.

The Pentagon has released a book of instructions on the “law of war,” detailing acceptable ways of killing the enemy. The manual also states that journalists can be labeled “unprivileged belligerents,” an obscure term that replaced “enemy combatant.”

The 1,176-page “Department of Defense Law of War Manual” explains that shooting, exploding, bombing, stabbing, or cutting the enemy are acceptable ways of getting the job done, but the use of poison or asphyxiating gases is not allowed.

Surprise attacks and killing retreating troops have also been given the green light.

But the lengthy manual doesn’t only talk about protocol for those on the frontline. It also has an extensive section on journalists – including the fact that they can be labeled terrorists.

“In general, journalists are civilians. However, journalists may be members of the armed forces, persons authorized to accompany the armed forces, or unprivileged belligerents,” the manual states.

The term “unprivileged belligerents” replaces the Bush-era term “unlawful enemy combatant.”

When asked what this means, professor of Journalism at Georgetown Chris Chambers told RT that he doesn’t know, “because the Geneva Convention, other tenets of international law, and even United States law – federal courts have spoken on this – doesn’t have this thing on ‘unprivileged belligerents’.”

This means that embedded journalists, who are officially sanctioned by the military and attached to a unit, will be favored by an even greater degree than before. “It gives them license to attack or even murder journalists that they don’t particularly like but aren’t on the other side,” Chambers said.

Even the Obama Administration’s definition of “enemy combatant” was vague enough, basically meaning any male of a military age who “happens to be there,” Chambers added.

My bold.

So now Journalists, news people, are fair game if someone doesn't like the looks of them or they have written something critical of the regime's activities.

Also, take note of that last part, any male of fighting age who just happens to be in the area.
Because, you know, anybody should know when a plane load of paratroopers is going to land in your back yard.

This should also take care of a bunch of that pesky collateral damage they hate to have to admit to.

"Hey, the dude was two doors down when the Cruise Missile hit, he should have known better to be within a quarter mile of that thing. Bummer for him eh?"

Let's just get it out on the table here and tell it like it is, the Pentagon with this has pretty much discarded a bunch of the Geneva Convention.

Like the Constitution , it must have just gotten to be a quaint old notion that started getting in the way of how they want to take care of business these days.

Poking The Bear, Again.

There is a point where Russia is going to take the gloves off and these motherfucking idiots seem to be ceaseless in their quest to find it.

US military moving tanks, other equipment to allied nations near Russian border

Defense Secretary Ash Carter announced Tuesday that the U.S. will deploy heavy weaponry -- including about 250 tanks, armored vehicles and other equipment -- across six European nations including those along the Russian border.
The move is meant to help reassure NATO allies facing an array of threats from Russia and terrorist groups. It is only the latest message being telegraphed to an increasingly assertive Vladimir Putin, in the wake of his country's intervention in eastern Ukraine.
The equipment is set to be stationed in the Baltic states -- Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania -- as well as Bulgaria, Poland and Romania.
Each set of equipment would be enough to equip a military company or battalion, and would go on at least a temporary basis to those six nations. Carter said the equipment could be moved around the region for training and military exercises, and would include Bradley fighting vehicles and self-propelled howitzer artillery guns.
"We intend to move those equipment sets around as exercises move around," Carter told a news conference. "They're not static. Their purpose is to enable richer training and more mobility to forces in Europe." He said the U.S. presence will be "persistent" but "agile."

Keep 'em moving like flies buzzing in Putin's face.
Eventually he will get the fly swatter out.

The days of Americas hedgemony are waning rapidly and it's ability to project force around the globe will soon follow suit.
Someone needs to tell these high stakes RISK players that we don't have the money to play these fucky fuck games anymore.

Police Mentality

I have literally lost count of just how many wisecracking smart ass cops I have encountered over the years who had the sense of humor of an immature ten year old but it is well over two dozen.
It's just one of their little power trips that they seem to enjoy so much but it gets old immediately and shows a remarkable lack of professional conduct for someone who is supposedly a pillar of virtue representing the best we have to offer.
Sadly they seem to have found their little niche and look for reasons to act like idiots when they know there will be zero repercussions.

Don't get me wrong, I have run into some exceptional and outstanding individuals here and there over the years and can actually name one right this minute.
Unfortunately they seem to be seriously outnumbered. Still, they are out there and you will occasionally run into one.

This is obviously a parody but compared to my experiences with some of the boys in blue it wouldn't surprise me if it happened tomorrow.

Updated,

Just by coincidence I got to see a couple of Local cops do their thing right across the fucking street a couple hours ago.
A woman cop pulled some guy over right across the street. His arms are out the window, her hand is on her weapon and there is a huge freakin' dog in the back seat.

I was seriously going to tell everyone to hit the fucking deck if I saw her pull that gun.
She didn't shoot the dog, good on her for that but the dude went bye bye in cuffs with no shirt, shorts and sandals, after backup showed up.

I have no clue what that shit was about but there was a chick in the passenger seat I see after they are getting ready to haul the guy off, she got out and took his shirt over to him and the cops freaked out about that too because she opened the back of the rig to get it out and then spun around and started walking towards the cop car.
They were shouting and pointing, the poor girl about pissed herself trying to get back away from the cop car.

Jesus.

I love living here.

Not.

More Advice To Remember

Never, ever, make eye contact,

BOHICA

Read this excerpt from an interview with a Rich Guy.
When he starts saying the Shit Is Going To Hit The Fan because the amount of hours one has to work before an employer has to pay overtime is going to get changed by the Guy With A Pen And A Phone, he is fucking serious.
Read on and see how fucked we are already and then imagine what can be coming down the pike here in a short while if someone starts dicking around with what has been a Don't Go There law that affects every single working person in this country.

Today, the average full time worker works 47 hours a week. And they work those [extra] seven hours mostly for free, because today, less than 10% of salaried workers are entitled to overtime. If you earn more than $23,600 a year—if your employer pitches you a fake title like “assistant manager,” they don’t have to pay you overtime. And as a consequence, all over the country people are working for $27,000 a year and working 70 hours a week doing basically: one person doing the job of one and a half. So as an employer I can get two people to do the work of three, and think about what that does for profits... what I’ve done effectively is not just increase my profits, but I’ve taken a job out of the economy, and in so doing I’ve softened the labor market. And the softer the labor market is, the more leverage I have in my wage negotiations. And as a consequence we have this relatively high persistent unemployment. But if employers have to pay people overtime, they’re not going to want to do that. So now I’m going to have to get three people to do the job where two were doing it before. I add a person to the work force. I reduce the level of unemployment. I increase the level of demand in the economy. And I put upward pressure on wages.

The president has unilateral ability to raise that threshold through a rule through the Labor Department. And within two weeks, the Labor Department will announce what that rule is, what that new threshold is. And I can tell you that the shit is going to hit the fan.

Gawker: What is the new threshold going to be?

NH: I cannot tell you. I’m telling you, the shit’s gonna hit the fan.

My bold.

Like I said above, BOHICA folks.
In this same interview, they are talking about a tipping point, I do believe this would be classified as a screaming over the edge of the cliff at warp speed moment.
If you look at the numbers being bandied about lately comparing the amount of people working and the number of people who aren't and that includes those who won't, this is going to be the death blow for millions of families.
My question is just who in the fuck do they think is going to keep paying the money needed to fund this gargantuan budget these fuckers keep running up year after year?
It ain't gonna be the poor sonsabitches eating Top Ramen two nights a week and working 65 and 70 hour work weeks for the privilege, that's for damn sure.
This country has lost it's fucking mind and the ones who are supposedly running it for the benefit of all have lost touch with reality completely.

If you thought the little party in Baltimore a few weeks ago was fun, you ain't seen nuthin' yet.

Updated;

Thanks to Irish, a man among men, for leaving me a link in comments to an article he read a few months back that explains that Advocates actually want the wage threshold raised so that more workers would be eligible for overtime pay.
This of course, brings it's own set of problems.

They Wouldn't Be Able To Keep Them In Stock

So I started smoking again but I did give up or at least trade down on, one other habit I have.
I was drinking those Monster Energy Drinks like they were going out of style there for a while.
I am a serious caffeine fiend but a picky one, there was only one kind I liked and even talked the Indian guy who owns the local Stop and Shop or whatever they call it, into stocking them for me.

I was drinking three or four of those big bastards a day sometimes.Clear up to two and three in the morning and then going to bed.

That is way too much of that shit, I started having problems with my knees hurting behind the kneecap like Bursitis. Since I am on my feet all damn day you can imagine how pleasant that got to be, like a tooth ache on the inside of my knee cap all the time.
The wife was on my ass like no tomorrow over it but I just ignored her.

Eventually I started wondering if it wasn't something in those damn energy drinks so I tapered off of those sonsabitches and started Drinking Cokes again.
I can only drink so much coffee, kills my guts after a while.
It took about a month but the ache finally went away.

So here a while back, Coca Cola comes out with this cutesy fucking idea of putting peoples names on the bottle and saying, "Have a Coke with so and so".

Yeah, what the fuck ever, like I give a shit about that anyways.

Every day before work, I grab about three of these 20 ounce Cokes and drink on them at work and usually have one for at home when I get off.

As busy as I get sometimes, I will set one of the damn things down and forget where I put it.
I'm sure you can identify.

Tonight at work was no exception, I got busy as Hell because we were short a guy and I set one of these Cokes down and went looking for it later.

I found it right next to this new kid we got who was pushing some buttons running a lift and reached around him and grabbed it.
I told him that I need to put a chain on the damn things so I quit walking off and leaving them all over.

He asks me if I had found one with my name on it yet,
I looked at him and said that would be the day.
I don't think they will ever make one that says ASSHOLE on it.........

I'll keep looking though.

Tape Up Your Ribs Before Reading This

They will probably get sore from laughing so hard.

Jeb Bush officially announces presidential bid

Los Angeles Times | June 15, 2015 | 1:10 PM
Republican Jeb Bush formally kicked off his presidential campaign in Miami today with a hopeful message about America's future staked on his track record as Florida's governor, while also differentiating himself from some of his GOP rivals.

The announcement formalizes what has been well-known for months as Bush, the son and brother of former U.S. presidents, criss-crossed the nation greeting voters and raising tens of millions of dollars.

Clinton or Bush? These are the choices again?
Fuck you, None Of The Above works for me.

Developers can be required to include affordable housing, California high court rules

Socialism writ large.
I know what I would do in response to this, refuse to build a fucking bus stop in that state.

Developers can be required to include affordable housing, California high court rules

The California Supreme Court decided unanimously Monday that cities and counties may require developers to provide below-market-rate housing as a condition of a building permit.
The decision is expected to make it easier for Los Angeles and other cities with housing shortages to force developers to build or pay for affordable housing.
“There is no reason why a municipality may not ... [require] new developments to set aside a percentage of its proposed units for sale at a price that is affordable to moderate or low income households,” Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye wrote for the court.

Snip

Monday's decision stemmed from a constitutional challenge of an affordable housing ordinance passed in San Jose five years ago.
The state building industry, backed by real estate groups, sued and blocked the city from enforcing the law. Developers contended it was unconstitutional “taking” of private property.
The law requires developers building 20 or more housing units to offer  15% at below-market rates or pay into a city fund.
Nearly 200 cities and counties have passed some version of the law.

Snip

“Providing affordable housing is a strong, perhaps even compelling, governmental interest. But it is an interest of the government,” Chin wrote. “The community as a whole should bear the burden of furthering this interest, not merely some segment of the community.”

So the argument the court used in the San Jose case was that the government there has this incentive that allows the developers to build the low income units cheaper than the regular ones.

That can't be a good thing.
You get what you pay for comes to mind and I have seen some real shoddy crap thrown up in a hurry before.

So the State with this decision, is officially enforcing Socialism by forcing developers to build things they do not want to build to benefit people who do not want to work because they can get low cost or free housing from the State.

Quite the system they have going.

First I would tell the State that if they want to force someone to build cheap housing that they should contact someone who gives a shit.
Then I would pack up my holdings and move somewhere far away that doesn't allow the government that kind of say in how I invest my time and money.

I am so thankful that I don't live there anymore myself, I'm thinking they need to put up a fence around that place.

Maybe the State could force someone to do that for me, cheap.

Are They Loose Or Something?

Must be, she is nodding in agreement.

LA Sheriff's Dept Blaming New Pistol For Increase In Accidental Discharges

I can't wait for the comments on this one.

New gun blamed for rise in LA County deputy shootings

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The number of accidental shootings by Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies has more than doubled in two years as the department switches to a new handgun.
There were 12 accidental discharges of weapons in 2012 and 30 last year — most of which involved the new gun, the Los Angeles Times reported (http://lat.ms/1TkMK4O).
In October, a deputy tripped over a stroller and fired a bullet through the wall of a house in Huntington Park. Last November, a deputy in Lancaster shot himself in the thigh while pulling his gun. In December, a deputy in Compton accidentally pulled the trigger on his gun as he approached a suspected stolen car and a bullet hit the door. Nobody was in the car, however.
The inspector general of the Sheriff's Department is investigating the increase in accidental firings. But sheriff's officials attribute the increase to the learning curve for the new weapon, the Smith & Wesson M&P9.
The semi-automatic gun is made from a lightweight polymer, doesn't have a safety lever and requires less pressure to pull the trigger than the Beretta 92F, a heavier gun the department has used for two decades.
"The vast majority were people trained on the Beretta," Assistant Sheriff Todd Rogers said. "There is a correlation, no doubt about it."

Gun owners around the world are right at this moment collectively shaking their heads in disgust I bet.
Where does one start  when seeing this piss poor excuse being plastered in the news?

Like anyone other than a cop would even try to blame his weapon for firing when it's not supposed to and expect to not be beaten mercilessly in the public domain?
Here is a news flash right back at ya Mr. Blame It On The Gun, you are the one responsible for your weapon firing, period.

California To Start Restricting Water Pumping By Historical Pre 1914 Water Rights Holders

This will be game on for some of these water rights holders. They are talking serious business now.
It's no joke that the South West was and is populated on water availability and many people fought and died over water rights way back when.

Historically, the earliest water rights holders had first come, first served status. Some of the earliest water rights holders date clear back to the Gold Rush days.

It looks like The Peoples State of Kalifornia is going to try and temporarily end that due to the severity of the drought.
This is not unexpected.

California moves to restrict water pumping by pre-1914 rights holders

For the first time in nearly 40 years, California regulators are telling more than 100 irrigation districts and others with some of the oldest water rights in the state that they have to stop pumping supplies from drought-starved rivers and streams in the Central Valley.

The curtailment order, issued Friday by the State Water Resources Control Board, has been expected for weeks. The board earlier this spring halted diversions by some 9,000 junior rights holders. With snowmelt reduced to a trickle this year, there simply isn’t enough water flowing in rivers to meet the demand of all those with even older rights predating 1914.

The last time regulators ordered those with pre-1914 water rights to stop diversions was in the punishing 1976-77 drought.

Though there is precedent for senior curtailments, it is likely that Friday’s order will spark appeals to the board as well as legal challenges. “People are so dug into their rights that regardless of what we do, it’s likely they will ask for a rehearing,” Delta Watermaster Michael George said last month. “There’s going to be lots of litigation coming out of this.”

In California and the West, most rights to surface water are based on when the water was first diverted and used, a system known as “first in time, first in right.” The oldest claims date to the Gold Rush era, when miners sucked water from streams and used it to blast gold out of the Sierra Nevada foothills.

The state didn’t start issuing water diversion permits until 1914, the dividing line between senior and junior rights.

Feds driven to admit dozens of Land Rover seizures were wrong

I remember hearing about this last year.
Read this and tell me how some asshole read the vin numbers wrong.
I ain't buying that bullshit.

It's too bad they can't be sued right the fuck back now for emotional distress, illegal seizure and generally being absolute douche bags.

Feds driven to admit dozens of Land Rover seizures were wrong

Vintage Land Rovers that looked so good they fooled the federal government into seizing them are being returned to their owners this week after a legal nightmare that began nearly a year ago.
Dozens of the iconic Defender models were seized by the Department of Homeland Security after U.S. buyers purchased them from abroad and had them shipped here. Vehicles that do not comply with safety and emissions standards cannot be purchased from foreign sellers unless they are 25 years or older, and therefore exempt from the regulations. North Carolina lawyer and Land Rover enthusiast Will Hedrick, who has represented more than two dozen Defender owners free of charge, believes investigators mistook the vehicles for newer models.

I had seven law enforcement officers block my driveway and take my Land Rover, with bulletproof vests and guns in holsters,” recalled Jennifer Brinkley, who paid $60,000 for her classic Land Rover Defender. The North Carolina mother’s dream ride, inspired by memories of African safaris.
Seized under civil forfeiture laws, Brinkley's 1985 Land Rover languished at a Williamston impound lot until Thursday, when she went with attorney Christina Clodfelter, who worked with Hedrick, to retrieve it.
Hedrick said if he hadn't agreed to work pro bono, the government might never have been forced to admit its mistake. In civil forfeitures, he said, innocent property owners often decide to cut their losses.
“It just gets too expensive,” Hedrick said. “You’re going to spend more money trying to get your property back than what it’s worth. So, people just write it off.”
In the case of the seized Defenders, Hedrick believes investigators may have misread some of the Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) and mistaken them for newer models. He also said it’s easy to install new parts on old Defenders, making them appear newer than they are.
Federal authorities declined to comment on specific cases. However, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Raleigh, N.C., told Fox News in an email that 25 seized vehicles are being returned to owners around the country.

Seized at gunpoint. You damn right they had to use overwhelming force or they might have gotten shot themselves.
Thieving fucking bastards.

Fuck, the Feds man.
I would almost bet money that someone had plans to get a couple of those somehow.

Hell, I'd like to have one!

So, someone explain to me how hard it must have been to get someone that can see straight to go down and read the vehicle identification numbers again? It took a fucking year to get this straightened out.
And what about the rest of them?
If they are all the same vintage then why aren't they releasing ALL OF THEM?

Some people are still gonna get fucked over.

Long Live Saruman!

Damn, Sir Christopher Lee has died at the age of 93.
That was a hell of a good run my man, RIP.

The guy was in so many movies it is kind of hard to believe he was still around to begin with.
250 of them to be exact.

This though, will surprise the living shit out of you if you have never heard it before,
Sir Christopher Lee had a classically trained Operatic Baritone singing voice and loved Symphonic and Melodic Heavy Metal!
I kid you not, the man just released his very own Heavy Metal album last year AT THE AGE OF 92!!!
That is so Bad Ass that words fail me.

Sir Christopher Frank Carandini Lee, CBE, CStJ (27 May 1922 – 7 June 2015) was an English actor, singer, and author. With a career spanning nearly 70 years, Lee initially portrayed villains and became best known for his role as Count Dracula in a sequence of Hammer Horror films. His other film roles include Francisco Scaramanga in the James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun (1974), Saruman in The Lord of the Rings film trilogy (2001–2003) and The Hobbit film trilogy (2012–2014), and Count Dooku in the final two films of the Star Wars prequel trilogy (2002 and 2005).

Lee was knighted for services to drama and charity in 2009, received the BAFTA Fellowship in 2011 and received the BFI Fellowship in 2013.[1] Lee considered his best performance to be that of Pakistan's founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah in the biopic Jinnah (1998), and his best film to be the British horror film The Wicker Man (1973).[2]

Always noted as an actor for his deep strong voice, Lee was also known for his singing ability, recording various opera and musical pieces between 1986 and 1998 and the symphonic metal album Charlemagne: By the Sword and the Cross in 2010 after having worked with several metal bands since 2005. The heavy metal follow-up titled Charlemagne: The Omens of Death was released on 27 May 2013.[3][4] He was honoured with the "Spirit of Metal" award in the 2010 Metal Hammer Golden God awards ceremony.

He of course played Saruman in the Lord Of The Rings movies but a little known fact is that he had been around so long that he had actually met The author of those books, J.R.R. Tolkien.

Looks Like A Blast

It seems to be missing something though.

Like something that goes BANG really loud.

I imagine this would be quite the grocery getter though.

The Flesh is Weak,

I saw earlier where our favorite Crazy Uncle Bubba is trying to quit smoking, err, cigarettes anyways, and gave him my support while copping to a Mea Culpa of my own.

Bubba rightfully called me out on it, so after all the bragging, whining and bitching I did about the whole ordeal, I am going to man up and take the lumps that I so deserve.
Yes, I folded after four fucking months and started in again.

I'm a wuss.

It was like I never put them down too.

That's the scary part.

So there it is, I started smoking the nasty fucking things again, all it took was to grab the one out of my wifes hand suddenly while we were driving and take a big puff.

Game over.
I fucking relaxed for the first time in weeks.

All I can do at this point is wait until I get pissed off at myself enough and try to quit all over again.

As usual, the comment section is open, take your best shots.
I'm a full grown man and will take what I got coming.
In the mean time, excuse me while I  enjoy a smoke.

Fuck The Feds And Their New "Interpretation" Of Disseminating Firearm Related Material

Who the fuck does the government think they are trying to kid with this bullshit?

NRA: Gun blogs, videos, web forums threatened by new Obama regulation.

Commonly used and unregulated internet discussions and videos about guns and ammo could be closed down under rules proposed by the State Department, amounting to a "gag order on firearm-related speech," the National Rifle Association is warning.

In updating regulations governing international arms sales, State is demanding that anyone who puts technical details about arms and ammo on the web first get the OK from the federal government — or face a fine of up to $1 million and 20 years in jail.

Snip

At issue is the internet. State is updating International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which implement the federal Arms Export Control Act (AECA). The rules govern everything from guns to strategic bombers.

The NRA said that the rules predate the internet, and now the federal government wants to regulate technical arms discussions on on the internationally available web.

"The ITAR, however, were originally promulgated in the days before the Internet. Some State Department officials now insist that anything published online in a generally-accessible location has essentially been 'exported,' as it would be accessible to foreign nationals both in the U.S. and overseas.

"With the new proposal published on June 3, the State Department claims to be 'clarifying' the rules concerning 'technical data' posted online or otherwise 'released' into the 'public domain.' To the contrary, however, the proposal would institute a massive new prior restraint on free speech. This is because all such releases would require the 'authorization' of the government before they occurred. The cumbersome and time-consuming process of obtaining such authorizations, moreover, would make online communication about certain technical aspects of firearms and ammunition essentially impossible."

The only way they can try to pull this off is by using their favorite gag order, National Security.

Other than that, it is blatantly a violation of the First Amendment. Without even a molecule of doubt.

Besides all that and whatever these assclowns think they can get away with, my first question to these fucking morons is what do they propose to do about the literally MILLIONS of articles, Blog posts, Chat Room Histories ,videos and who knows what all, that ALREADY EXIST?!

I seem to recall the government trying to close the barn door after the horses got out back when they tried to stop the proliferation of the 3D printed Plastic Gun plans that went around the entire planet in under 24 hours after they tried to shut it down.
Take that one case for an example and extrapolate the possible number of cases like it, to infinity.

Do they seriously think they can stop the transfer of information of any kind in this day and age?
If they do, they are absolutely kidding themselves.

It's pathetic attempt to squelch free speech and the freedom of the press by using a back handed method. It is also a very desperate move by this administration.

I would classify it as a Hail Mary Play, throw it up and pray it works.

As far as I can see it doesn't matter if they can somehow bullshit their way into getting it passed, there is no physical way they can stop the flow of information, even if they shut down the internet.

As a matter of fact, I can see the backlash to this being everybody and their dog who has even the slightest scrap of information about the most unheard of firearms in the world, getting organized and publishing it all en mass on a given day.
Can you imagine such a thing? Basically the entire history of firearms is out there on line somewhere and that doesn't include the commentary that has accumulated over the years already.

Do you have any idea just how many Terrabites of data that would be?

Does our government?

Obviously not because they seem to think that with some wishful thinking and a fancy pen that they can control the flow of information on that scale from all around the entire world.
It would be like trying to regulate the individual grains of sand on a very large beach.
Enforcing such a thing would be impossible.

These clowns couldn't even stop a special interest piece, let alone the entire history of firearms in a digital format.

I say let the foot stomping, threats, sniveling and the frantic arm waving commence. The government has just bitten off way more than they can chew.

We shall see where the bear shits in the woods in short order after that.

If These Guy's Weren't So Dangerous They Would Be Laughed Out Of Town

I want to know who has the binoculars and too much time on their hands because I couldn't see a pigeons asshole flying by if it went right past my face.

ISIS bans pigeon breeding - punishable by public flogging - because seeing birds' genitals overhead offends Islam

  • Claim the sight of uncovered pigeons flying overhead is offensive to God

  • Just to point something out to the ignorant fuck heads, if God thought naked pigeons were offensive he would have given them tiny little diapers, no?

Senior clerics fighting for the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq have issued a diktat banning pigeon breeding as they claim the sight of the birds' genitals as they fly overhead is offensive to Islam.
Jihadis operating in the group's 'Euphrates province', which stretches from Anbar in Iraq to Dier ez Zour in Syria, told pigeon breeders they had one week to stop the practice or face public flogging.
The announcement isn't the first time ISIS has targeted the apparently blasphemous practice of pigeon breeding - a popular pastime in the Middle East.
Earlier this year it was claimed that 15 boys had been arrested and at least three of them executed by ISIS militants in Iraq's eastern Diyala governate after fighters took exception to their pigeon breeding hobby on the grounds that it stopped them spending their time worshipping Allah.

Just wait until they see a really pissed off Eagle screaming by and taking a big dump on 'em.

Source: Man fatally shot by Boston police part of terror network

I have no comment on this at the moment , I am waiting for the press to get done with their spin orgy and see what develops .

(CNN)A man who was fatally shot by police in Boston on Tuesday was part of a broader terror investigation involving suspected Islamist extremists being tracked by the U.S. Joint Terrorism Task Force, a law enforcement official said.
The suspect belonged to an ad hoc terror network, said a second law enforcement source.
Police and federal agents shot and killed the man after he waved a large military-style knife at officers, authorities said.
The suspect was identified as Usaama Rahim, according to his brother, Ibrahim Rahim, who posted about the death on social media.
The FBI-led task force had been watching Rahim and two associates believed to be radicalized by ISIS and other extremist influences, according to a law enforcement official. Rahim had been monitored for at least a couple years.

Ibrahim Rahim, an imam at the Lighthouse Mosque in Oakland, California, wrote on Facebook that his brother was shot while at a bus stop on his way to work.
Ibrahim Rahim said his brother was shot three times in the back during the confrontation. He said his brother was on the phone with their father.
The suspect had been under surveillance by the U.S. Joint Terrorism Task Force, Boston Police Commissioner William Evans told reporters, without elaborating.
Evans said the shooting occurred at about 7 a.m. after officers and FBI agents confronted the unidentified man, who turned around with a large black knife.
The officers retreated and ordered the man to put down the weapon before they opened fire, Evans said.
"Unfortunately, he came at the officers and, you know, they do what they were trained to do and, unfortunately, they had to take a life," Evans said.
A Boston police officer and a federal agent opened fire on the suspect, Evans said.

One thing I would be curious to know is if the brother wasn't there, how does he know the guy was shot in the back?

There is the usual  government is the good guys propaganda  dispersed throughout this piece also.
Another thing I find interesting is if the Feds have been watching this guy for a couple of years and finally decided to go after him , declaring him as they have as a dangerous individual,
who the fuck made the decision to confront him at a bus stop in broad daylight?

That is a ridiculously bad call but shouldn't surprise me I suppose.

You Stoners Might Want To Bring A Truck To Washington State Later This Summer

I can not believe I lived long enough to ever see something like this.

Back in my younger days I was a massive stoner.
    All day, every day.
When I was 18, I got busted sitting in my truck back off the road taking a bong hit out of this wicked cool, 3 stage, ice cooled, monster fucking bong I had just bought a week before.

All I had was  a couple of hits of some nasty homegrown shit. This was in Oregon at the time and they had sort of decriminalized so it wasn't some major jail time thing anymore.
It cost me a hundred bucks, the cops took my bong, the two freakin' hits of home grown and even the plastic lunch tray I had swiped from school that I used to keep things nice and tidy with. Back in those days twigs and seeds were the norm. Nasty fucking Mexican weed was about all you could get most of the time.

Now they come out with this shit.

Costco to Offer Wholesale Marijuana by Summer

REDMOND WA- Kirkland based wholesale megastore Costco has announced plans to offer bulk high grade marijuana under their flagship Kirkland Signature brand in all 237 Washington locations.
The marijuana will be exclusively purchased from the Suquamish Tribe, which is currently awaiting federal approval to begin production on.
Tribal gaming commissioners met with Costco executives more than 3 months ago to work on a tentative deal.
Kirkland signature hopes to add marijuana to its laundry list of goods including baby clothes, shampoo and dad shoes by the end of June.

They have shit out there now that'll fucking paralyze ya if you ain't used to smokin'. I'm not joking either.

It's been years since I have been able to even take one damn hit because every fucking job I have had for the last twenty five years has had drug testing.

I'm not losing a job for that, I have a family to support.

It really fucking bites that the state I live in made the shit legal last year but the fucking job still has the drug testing horse shit.

It's probably just as well, the last time I took a bong hit, it was some of that Killer Green Bud, Skunky shit and ten minutes later I was completely immobilized and drooling in my lap.
The shit's like Elephant Tranquilizer compared to the garbage I grew up on.

So if you are a stoner these days you are probably used to it and now you will soon be able to go buy it in bulk!

While you are there you might as well stock up on munchies too.

Just remember, don't bogart that joint man.

H/T to my most excellent buddy Steve for sending me the link.
