Taliban Are Not Terrorists, or So Says the White House

Yet if you are here, reading this, you are a Domestic Terrorist.
Do you get it yet?

“They do carry out tactics that are akin to terrorism. They do pursue terror attacks in an effort to try to advance their agenda,” White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest explained today, but “they have a different classification.”
Semantics aside, the Taliban is suspected in multiple attacks over just the last 48 hours that have killed more than 30 people, including a suicide bombing attack on a funeral in Afghanistan today that killed 16 and wounded 39.

A different classification.

Right.

These people are so full of shit and so detached from reality that when confronted with it, they automatically try to spin it to fit their agenda.

No matter how ridiculous they look doing it.

So, to show you just how ridiculous this is on it's face, let's put it into perspective.

According to our government, this admittedly sketchy looking individual is a Domestic Terrorist;

These are not Terrorists;

Let's try to keep that straight, shall we?

Arkansas Gun Range Bans Muslims, Lawsuits Being Considered.

Read the whole story before you form an opinion.

I have mine and you damn well know what it is without me saying a word.

In the five months since Jan Morgan banned Muslims from her gun range in Hot Springs, Ark., business has boomed and predictions of a lawsuit brought by federal civil rights enforcers have so far proved inaccurate.
Morgan, who claims keeping Muslims out of her Gun Cave Indoor Firing Range is a matter of public safety and not a constitutional issue, says she made the decision in September after two customers she deemed suspicious visited. She said their furtive behavior and cellphone ringtones of “Allahu Akhbar” prompted her to revise her range’s policies.
“We are dealing in lethal firearms,” Morgan told FoxNews.com. “I’m not going to let a Nazi shoot in here, or a Ku Klux Klan member in here, either.”
Morgan said she excludes those she believes to be Muslim based on their names. She says business is up, but she has gotten threats, which she brushed off.

But Morgan’s “no Muslims” stance has her in the legal crosshairs of at least two groups. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) wrote to Attorney General Eric Holder seeking the Justice Department’s involvement.
“Given the recent spike in anti-Muslim rhetoric, including Islamophobic statements by government officials, community leaders and media outlets, death threats, and other bias incidents targeting Muslims, I urge you to investigate this matter soon,” a letter sent by CAIR to Holder in October stated.
“CAIR believes that systematically banning Muslims from a place of business is a violation of federal laws prohibiting racial and religious discrimination and will inevitably result in a hostile environment for ordinary Muslims in Arkansas,” the letter added.

Snip

In the meantime, Morgan is not budging. She likened offering target practice to potential terrorists to flight schools offering lessons on simulators to the 9/11 terrorists. And because firearms are involved, she said her case is not analogous to cases in which private businesses have been sanctioned for refusing to serve other groups, such as gays.
“One mistake can cost another human being’s life,” she said. “There’s no room for mistakes when you’re handling firearms. We aren’t just refusing to make a wedding cake here.”
Morgan claims business has “quadrupled” with people from out of state coming to the range and some even offering donations for what they predict will be a legal battle. She also said she has been threatened, which she responded to by posting her home address on the range website and daring those issuing threats to do so in person.
“I am the infidel your Imam warned you about,” Morgan wrote under an image of her packing heat.

The ACLU is actively looking for someone to file a complaint so they can file a lawsuit.

The article states that a possible defense she could use is to say that the gun range is a club. Read the whole article as it is way too long to repost here.

I say charge people a fee to get in, make 'em sign a waiver and hand them a card stating they are a member of a club now.

If she doesn't like you Achmed, you don't get a card and you don't get in.

Perfectly legal.

Secret Service investigating small drone on White House grounds

HA HA HA!!

Obama is out of town, I'm wondering if someone wasn't having a bit of fun while he's gone.
You know ain't nobody going to fess up to that stunt.
I'm sure the SS has got their ass cheeks clenched already.

Washington (CNN)The U.S. Secret Service is investigating a "device," described as a small drone, found on the grounds of the White House, a White House official said Monday, and Press Secretary Josh Earnest said early indications are that the device does not pose an ongoing threat.
The unnamed official also says Secret Service is waiting until daylight to clear it away.
President Barack Obama and the first lady are both away, traveling in India with Earnest.

Former New Mexico Sheriff Gets Ten Years For Rights Violations

Just from reading this one article about this guy and his history they are reporting should give you an idea of just how far out of line you have to get as a cop before they do anything serious about it.

Former New Mexico sheriff to serve 10 years for rights violations

By Joseph Kolb
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (Reuters) - A former New Mexico sheriff was sentenced to 10 years in prison by a federal court on Wednesday after he was found guilty of violating a motorist's civil rights last year when he dragged the man from his car and threatened him with a gun.
Tommy Rodella, 53, was sheriff of Rio Arriba County but was in plainclothes and brandishing a pistol when he and his son confronted the motorist in March 2014. When the victim asked to see some identification, prosecutors said, Rodella slammed his sheriff's badge into the man's face.

Snip

Rodella's controversial career spanned almost three decades. The Albuquerque Journal said that as a state police officer in the 1980s he was disciplined for marijuana use, physical abuse and improper use of a weapon. In 1993 he allegedly shot at a deer decoy set up by state game wardens to catch poachers.
In 2008 the New Mexico Supreme Court fired him from his post as a magistrate court judge in Rio Arriba County for "willful misconduct" after he involved himself in a friend's drunken driving case, and also promised to rule in favor of campaign supporters if they faced any litigation in his court.
 Then we have this hilarious little comment from the US Attorney;

"When he attacked a defenseless innocent civilian, Sheriff Rodella chose to abuse his power rather than uphold his oath to protect the public," Damon Martinez, U.S. Attorney for the District of New Mexico, said in a statement.

He said the Justice Department will "vigorously" prosecute any officer who crosses the line, because they discredit their colleagues and weaken public trust in law enforcement.

My bold.

Yeah, right.

I'm thinking maybe this guy has never heard of a place called Albuquerque?

Company That Can't Import AK-47's Anymore To Build Them Here Instead.

I laughed my ass off when I saw this.

It's basically a giant Fuck You to Obama.

AK-47s: Soon to be made in USA

LAS VEGAS (CNNMoney)

An American gun company has found a way around the anti-Russia sanctions that have banned imports of the Kalashnikov assault rifle: Make them here, in the U.S.A.

The U.S.-made gun will have same name as the original: AK-47, arguably the most ubiquitous assault rifle in the world.
The gun will be made by American company RWC, which is the official importer and distributor of Kalashnikov AK-47s. The company had to stop importing the guns after the U.S. imposed sanctions in July against Russia for its role in the Ukraine crisis.
RWC said it is not permitted to have any contact with the Russian company, Kalashnikov Concern, which makes the AK-47s.
"We are not permitted to pick up the phone and to talk to them," said Thomas McCrossin, CEO of RWC, which owns the Kalashnikov USA brand. "We were forced to stop doing business with them because of the sanctions."
RWC, based in Tullytown, Pa., has the rights to the AK-47 Kalashnikov brand of guns, which has been produced in the Soviet Union after World War II.

The thing is, this company has plenty of AK's on the shelf that they bought before the sanctions and are still able to sell them until they are gone.
That's when this new ability to manufacture them here will be a smart business move.

I love it because they are sticking their middle finger right in the governments eye.

Well done sir.

Holder Tells States To Keep The Pocket Change From Asset Seizures

How generous of the motherfucker.

Holder announces changes to asset forfeiture program
Published January 16, 2015
Associated Press

Attorney General Eric Holder is curbing the federal government's role in a civil asset forfeiture program involving local and state law enforcement agencies.

Holder says federal agencies will no longer take possession of assets seized by local law enforcement, unless the property includes firearms or and other materials that concern public safety.

The Justice Department has long allowed local law enforcement agencies to turn over seized assets to the federal government and then share in the proceeds.

The program was developed at a time when most states didn't have their own asset forfeiture laws and didn't have legal authority to forfeit seized assets.

But Holder says because all states now have civil or criminal asset forfeiture laws, it's no longer necessary for local law enforcement to turn over seized property.

Police departments across the country could be seen with their fingers flying across their pocket calculators.

Thievin' sonsabitches.

Two Weeks,No Smoke

And I still want to kill something half the time.

I have noticed that the cravings and severe urges have started to taper off though.
They aren't near as frequent nor are they quite as strong.
That doesn't mean they have gone away by any means yet.

I have also noticed that my senses of smell and taste are coming back.

It's kind of neat to be able to taste different things in the same food you have been eating over and over again.

Hard candy is my friend.
I make damn sure I have at least a handful on me before I head out anywhere and have a couple of bags of different flavors in my lunch box.

The wife went to buy smokes yesterday, she smokes these funky little cigars with filters on them, they look like cigarettes but they aren't, fifteen bucks a carton.

That means I saved some money yesterday because she was buying two cartons of Menthol's for me and now she doesn't have to.

Eventually these cravings will ease up completely.

Oh yeah, I noticed I am breathing easier too.

That's big.

Now I am waiting to start hacking up a bunch of crap.

One day at a time folks, one day at a time.

Boko Haram Kills Thousands In Nigeria, Seeks Islamic State.

Someone needs to remind all these dead women and children that Islam is a religion of peace.

On Friday, Amnesty International released a report about a recent series of attacks by Boko Haram that killed hundreds, if not thousands of people in Nigeria. According to Daniel Eyre, the author of the Amnesty report, the terror groups raids on Baga, a border town near Chad, may constitute the group's "deadliest act" yet:

If reports that the town was largely razed to the ground and that hundreds or even as many as 2,000 civilians were killed are true, this marks a disturbing and bloody escalation of Boko Haram’s ongoing onslaught against the civilian population.

Additional remarks from survivors on the ground in Nigeria were no less chilling. "Too many to count," the Associated Press wrote of the bodies, adding that a district official "said most victims are children, women and elderly people who could not run fast enough when insurgents drove into Baga."

Other reports added that Boko Haram is thought to have "wiped out" another 16 towns outside of Baga, which the group reportedly emptied of its 10,000 residents. "A large number reportedly drowned as they crossed Lake Chad," the BBC relayed.
"Nobody has been held accountable for the murder of anybody."

That nearly a week later we're hearing the vague details of an attack that possibly killed thousands speaks to the challenge of getting reliable information about the ongoing crisis in Nigeria. While the chaos has been wrought in large part by Boko Haram, which aims to establish an Islamic state in Africa and has infamously kidnapped countless girls seeking education, some of the other violence stems from long-standing sectarian tensions within the country.

My bold.

This has been going on over there for some years now and because they have no natural resources that the Oligarchy wants to get their hands on, nobody gives a shit.

If Boko Haram actually gets it's Islamic state, you can bet your bippy that someone over here will finally sit up and take notice.........

Bundle Up Kiddies!

It's about to get colder than a well digger's ass for those of you East of the Rockies again.

The coldest weather of the season is barreling into the U.S. this week with a series of "dangerously cold" arctic air masses.

The blasts of cold air will send temperatures 10-35 degrees below average for early January, Weather Channel meteorologist Roy Lucksinger said. High temperatures will range from near zero to the teens and 20s across a wide swath of the country.

The pattern is classic for winter, bringing frigid arctic air to nearly everyone east of the Rockies, National Weather Service meteorologist Paul Kocin said. The chilly weather will rival last year's January arctic outbreak that introduced the phrase "polar vortex" to America, he said.

"This is going to be a big cold outbreak, pretty windy as well," Kocin said. "It's going to drive all the way down south."

The first cold wave will cover the Plains and Great Lakes through Monday, while a second, even more frigid air mass blitzes into the Plains, Midwest and the East from Tuesday through Thursday, Lucksinger said.

Wind chills will plummet to minus 25 to minus 45 degrees from the northern Plains to the Ohio Valley. Frostbite can occur in as little as 10 minutes on exposed skin at that temperature.

The high temperature Monday in International Falls, Minn., the so-called icebox of the nation, will be only minus 7, with a wind chill of minus 45, the National Weather Service said. The city may eventually warm up to the single digits by Thursday.

In Chicago, the record low temperature of minus 10 could be "smashed" Thursday morning, WeatherBell meteorologist Ryan Maue said.

Someone needs to tell this chick to quit pulling the cold down from up North.

So Far So Good

It's been a couple of days now without a cigarette.

I can see why people gain weight when they stop smoking, lucky for me that is the least of my worries.

There have been a few moments but the real test is coming up because work beckons.

I can also see already that this is going to be challenging because there are so many of them I want to do this to as it is.

Same Shit, Different Day

Yeah yeah, Happy New Year and all that sloppy horse shit to you too.

You will have to excuse me if I seem especially grouchy today, I ain't had a cigarette in about twenty two hours ,forty five minutes and ten extremely long seconds.

I have been smoking almost 45 years.

It's time to give the sonsabitches up.

Cold fucking turkey.

This is going to be ugly.

It would be best if everybody stayed well out of kicking distance and make damn sure there is an ample supply of hard candy, toothpicks and other goodies handy.

See ya tomorrow sometime, maybe.
