I Bought Something Today That I Don't Want The Government To Know That I Have

So far they are still legal.

The reason I don't want the government to know that I have it is because I know they are stupid enough to break it with a rubber mallet.

You wouldn't happen to have the ACME phone number would ya?

I really, really want a pair of those rocket powered roller skates!

Something to go with your heavy hammers?

I once had one made from a length of railroad track. Disappeared in a move. Dang.

I about pee'd myself after I started looking for a good used one.

Holy crap are they expensive!

Surprisingly hard to come by too, unless you want to pay exorbitant shipping fees like I did for my band saw.
99 bucks for the saw on EBay, 500 for shipping by the time it was all said and done, to go 250 miles.

I learned an expensive lesson about on line bargain hunting.

I need to get one of those myself. Although doing much steel pounding with this shoulder poses some interesting challenges...

I'd build some kind of counter weighted hammer on a pivot if it were me and I wanted to do a bunch of pounding.
Give the pivot some slop so you could do a bit of angled side pounding action when needed and make that fucker heavy enough to git 'er done.

Ouch! Shipping ate you alive. That's where the veggie van saves my butt. Worth it to drive the distance.
